The Pattara resort and spa was undoubtedly a beautiful oasis, and incredibly well maintained. The rooms were very spacious, spotlessly clean and had the most comfortable beds out of all of the hotels I stayed in whilst travelling in Thailand. The resort was quiet and tranquil and the huge infinity pool was a delight. The only criticism I have, is the staff struggled to speak English which made ordering food and drinks and asking for assistance difficult but this was only a minor setback. Truly a picturesque retreat, and a very clean comfortable stay.

Traveling through we only stayed one night unfortunately. A beautiful hotel, the room had a 4 poster bed with a splendid view. We slept with the curtains open to fully enjoy the view! Great swimming pool that is optically enlarged thanks to the surrounding pond. Very friendly staff

Had a lovely few days here...this resort is set in the most beautiful grounds that are simply stunning and hard to believe you are in an urban area.....however the mosquitos and flies were a problem for me...bitten regularly despite spraying....and lots of flies in the open restaurant area and getting under the protective covers on the food....its a shame as the food in the restaurant is excellent. Staff speak very little English here but they are very accommodating and try their best to make you happy. Rooms were very comfortable and spotless, AC and fan worked well....however when I looked out the bathroom window had a view of lots of dead birds on the roof of the building below.....I didnt use the swimming pool as despite their best efforts to clean it daily the water was always filmy and cloudy and an odd colour...I felt that the filter may not have been sufficiently powerful to clean this huge pool.......despite all that its probably still the best hotel in the area...the "spa" is just a restful area where massages are carried out...there are no spa facilities as such and treatments are confined to massage, no beauty treatments, but prices are very reasonable....if I had to visit this area would probably still stay there...

Room Tip: All rooms overlook the pool and lake....corner rooms have a huge bathroom with an oversize bath.

Nice design of the pool, spa and around. Good breakfast while sitting at the big pond with Lotosflowers.
Friendly, pritty, english speaking Reception staff. City to be reached by Taxi or Tuktuk. Inside hotel: pick up from parking to room by e-golfcar.
Environment friendly transport.

My husband and I stayed here just for one night on our way from Bangkok to Chiang Mai, and we wish we had stayed longer just to enjoy the resort! This is an absolutely gorgeous place, and without exaggeration this is probably our best stay during our 3 weeks in Thailand. I'd go back to Phitsanulok just to stay at this place.

Grounds: The grounds are absolutely beautiful. You do feel like you are in a peaceful and serene oasis.

Rooms: The rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable. The bed is comfortable, the furniture is build with solid wood. Everything feels well and tastefully done. The bathrooms are also modern and clean -- no trace of the stench commonly encountered in bathrooms in other hotels.

Staff: The staff are friendly and polite, as good as one would expect from the land of smiles.

Food: Delicious. We ordered room service for dinner, which was fantastic. Breakfast was even better. The buffet has a large variety of foods, plenty of fresh fruit, and both Thai and western hot dishes (including made to order eggs).

This an all around absolutely fantastic place, and I'd recommend it without any reservations.

Led a small group and stayed overnight. Had I fully appreciated in advance the quality of the resort I would have stayed several. Simply elegant. The architecture, service and food delightful.. Kudos to all.

Room Tip: Plan on spending more than one night
