This hotel is located near some great tourist attraction. The room was ok n the television channels were mainly russian channel. Breakfast was quite good as there were yoghurt, raisins, cheese etc. But it was not served in buffet style. They will let u choose whenther u want omelet or pancake. I choose n it was not so good. But overall it was good

The hotel is 3-star but conveniently located in the 'old city' surrounded by all the interesting sights that a tourist would want to visit. Bazaars have been set up at the non-operating madrasahs, all at walking distance from the hotel. After checking-in we had a simple but filling dinner at the hotel. Afterwards we walked outside, found a deli shop, a coffee shop and people leisurely walking around the tree-lined park. Free wi-fi at the lobby is definitely a plus. Friendly staff at the reception and good service at the restaurant, too. Breakfast is simple - vegetables, cereals, vegan omelet, porridge, few cold cuts and cheese, crepes, two kinds of juice, some fruits, coffee, tea.

As with most local hotels in Uzbekistan, bathroom amenities are at the minimum. They put one teeny-weeny sachet of shampoo each day, and a coin-sized soap which is not even enough for one bath! So if you go there, bring your own bath needs. Some of our companions in the group complained of low water pressure in the morning-- good thing I took my shower at 5am when everyone was still asleep.

Overall I would say this hotel is okay for tourists as everything of interest is nearby.

The hotel and the town go hand in hand: Friendly!
Shopping and interesting sites are right there.
The hotel can be classified as 3 1/2 stars with all facilities. It is a little worn out but certainly the food service and service in general was very good. The front desk clerk had graduated from high school in Virginia! - no language barrier there. Good value for the money.

Room Tip: In the back

This hotel was built in 2006 and is positioned excellently for the key sites of the old city. It blends in nicely with the surrounding mosques, maddrassehs and caravanserai. One can walk easily to the Ark Fortress in 20 minutes past the kalon mosque and minaret and the bazaars. Position is this hotel's strongpoint however and what appears externally to be a modern stylish hotel, proved to be less ideal once through the tiled arched portal. The design team for this establishment should be pilloried! Sky blue and apricot nylon draped as swags over the curtains is not a good look; neither are the choice of bold clashing paint colours on walls and ceilings. Once we arrived at our room (the hotel has no lift and it took 7 minutes to walk from reception to our room- 92), things were generally much more acceptable. Decent size, reasonable levels of cleanliness, air con which worked and suitably appropriate furniture and storage were all provided, the interior designer's choice of a bright orangey/red tiled colour scheme for the bathroom was difficult to live with and the sealing of the bath had been done in an extremely botched and unattractive fashion. The main issue with the bathroom though, and in keeping with other reviews, was the lack of water, in particular hot water. In order to get water without a chill factor sufficient to shrivel one's assets, we had to run the tap for 25 minutes - thank god for antibacterial wipes!
Breakfast was actually ok. However like many aspects of this hotel it could be so much better with careful planning, consideration given to the layout of the buffet etc. Placing bread in one place, butter a couple of tables away and conserves again some distance off resulted in people tripping over each other to find things. Why would one put the cornflakes (minus a jug of milk) on the same table as the chef preparing fried eggs? We ate at the hotel for one night also, again the food was reasonable, tasty and in keeping with the Uzbek 4 course pattern. Staff to my mind were helpful and had reasonable English.
In summary a good hotel for the sites, not one for a "positive hotel experience" but one could probably do much worse

Room Tip: Better hot water supply seems to be available to those rooms closest the the reception area

This is a 95 room 2 story hotel mainly for groups. The hotel is new and our standard twin bed room was very nice with sofa and desk. Two free bottles of water in the room. Wireless is free and can be received in the rooms and in the lobby. A free use PC is available on the second floor and functions well, unlike those in most hotels.

There is a good outdoor pool that is in great condition. Our room was 48 on the second floor and faces the courtyard. We could hear music until 10pm and after it becomes quiet. The hotel has a great location where you can walk easily to main tourist sites. The hotel is well maintained and looks very new.

There is one really negative aspect: hotel water pressure is poor. You often have none in the shower especially when more than maybe two rooms are using their shower at any given time. In the morning when there is max usage, the water pressure can go to zero. Hot water is problematic too. The toilets are not configured for toilet paper. That is, you must deposit toilet paper in the adjacent can in order to avoid clogging it up. Altogether the described problems do not detract from our experience. The beds were comfortable and we had good night's sleep. You can open the windows if needed and fresh air is helpful if you dont wan the a/c.

Breakfast is great and probably the most varied and high quality of the ones we have had in 3 Uzbek cities. I would stay here again, especially if they fix the water problems.

Room Tip: We did not experience smoke, so locals apparently do not stay here. All rooms appear to have the same quality rooms and our group described their satisfaction without variance.
