“Nice stay ”
Reviewed 18 April 2014 via mobile

Excellent breakfast - the best we've experienced so far in Uzbekistan. Home made jam and yoghurt were delicious. Rooms comfortable and very clean. Could slightly hear next door neighbours but otherwise a good stay. Reception was helpful and wifi worked but it was quite slow. It was really easy to walk to the main tourist area, no more than 5 minutes through the little alleyways. This was completely safe and no problem whatsoever, day or night. Indeed is was a little snip of local life.

Stayed April 2014, travelled as a couple

Stayed for two nights when visiting Bukhara. This hotel is between the old town and new town and therefore a five - seven minute walk to either. It is situated in a quiet location close to the stadium. It might be difficult to find if driving but when walking back from the old town it is well sign posted and straight forward to find. The staff were friendly and welcoming, helping with heavy luggage when showing me to a modest but clean and comfortable room. The air conditioning worked well, necessary in the heat of Bukhara. The breakfast was substantial, with a hot and cold selection including fruit, eggs and sausages as well as regular buffet type food, cheese, cold meats, bread and sweet pastries. Recommended and I will come back again if ever in Bukhara.

Room Tip: My room, on the first floor, overlooked a courtyard and was quiet

Located on the border between the old city and new city, this place is difficult to find if you are driving. A GPS will help you get within 100 meters, but, if you are like me, you will end up on dead-end streets cussing under your breath. Best idea, get to the general neighborhood of the Buhoro stadium, look for a taxi stand. We asked for directions there, and one guy said (correctly) "you wont be able to find it on your own, for 4000 soum ($2), follow me". Once we got to the hotel, we were greeted by a very friendly staff, and shoen to our modest, but clean, and comfortable rooms. The hotel is a 7 minute walk from Lyabi Howuz. If you are walking there, make a mental note of landmarks, to make it easier to find your way home. There are signs hither and yon with arrows, but you will feel better if you "know" where youare going. Breakfast buffet was very nice, entire staff veryhelpful and friendly. Now that i know the way, i will be happy to come back

Room Tip: Rooms are all off of the central courtyard
