Old trading domes which were situated where roads crossed in old Bukhara which probably made tax collection easier. The trade is particular for each dome. Beautiful buildings where you can do some shopping.

Ancient building of 'Trading Domes' is a small structure in heart of Old Bukhara with few shops under its shelter. Centuries ago, trade of city was recognized by three different names, Taki Saraffon, Taki Zarragon and Taki Talpak but now it is a similar trade spread all over Old Bukhara, from Lyab-i-Hauz to outer parameter of Ark Fortress. Pottery, Wood Carving, Metal Engraving, Embroidery and Painting has today become hall mark of small Uzbek trade. The government has rented out thousands of small shops in Madrasahs of all cities to the poor families or skilled workers to earn their livelihood respectfully. They tenants pay very nominal rent on yearly basis but sell their products, mainly to the tourists round the year. Majority involved in these trades are females of all ages and very proudly earn their bread and butter from a 'Paradise of Dignity'. Taki Zargarron was overwhelmed with Silver and Gold Jewelry made of Uzbek or Russian Gold, traded by hundreds of women under one shelter. We spent all the free time in 'Trading Domes' without much of shopping.
