“naqshbadi mausoleum”
Reviewed 13 May 2013

About 13 km away from the city of Bukhara, the famous shrine of khoja Baha ul din naqshbandi is a famous attraction for tourists and piligims from various countries of the world. As usual there is the unislamic fee, as in islam fee can not be charged on mosques for offering prayers . the place is open having serene atmosphere ,consisting various structures and green spaces, however some of the pagan like rites performed by some pilgrims is deploreable.

“beautiful and relaxing”
Reviewed 29 December 2012

the mausoleum it self is very beautiful. but the best reason to come is to watch the pilgrims preform their rituals. one of the imams at the place was very kind and offered me free food. the place has a lot of local travelers but very few foreign tourists.

A nice chill place to visit with lots of history. Many locals came to visit while I was there too, which is always nice to see.

Reviewed 20 April 2012

Originally I am from Bukhara, and this place is very special to me. I come to visit Bakhautdin Naqsband at least once a year. Its a good place to be along with God and rethink your life and actions. Usually I make a wish while being there and it always come true so far...
