This was the most expensive place we stayed in Uzbekistan ($75 per night for a twin room) but it's a great character building around a nice courtyard and has a very good location in the old town close to the main square. The staff are friendly and helpful - and the breakfast is good. Definitely worth the money.
Only negative I would say is that they overcharge you for transfers, especially from the airport. We were charged $10 for an airport transfer, however the next day we visited a site outside the city which is a little further than the airport and only paid $2 for a local taxi.
