I had an enjoyable 2-night stay at the Tabriz International Hotel. The rooms are comfortable, very clean and well appointed. The hotel is in the city center. Breakfast is adequate and includes Delicious omelets. Hotel wireless internet signal is quite weak and in the some rooms, there is no reception.

I had an enjoyable 3-night stay at the Tabriz International Hotel.
While the rooms are not very big, they are confortable, very clean and well appointed.
We had a room facing the back of the building which is probably a good thing considering the hotel is located by a main avenue, near one of the main crossroads in the city. On the plus side, that central location means it is close to shops, restaurants and transportation.
The staff are very friendly and helpful.
Buffet breakfast is adequate and can be had either in the hotel's large dining room or outdoors on the terrasse.
The hotel is slightly let down by its restaurant. While the staff are again very friendly, there are few food choices and the price of the rather limited salad buffet is far too high for what it contains.
On the whole a very pleasant stay.
The Tabriz international is a very good hotel by iranian standards and I'd definitely stay there again.

Room Tip: Try to get a room facing the back, away from the noisy avenue.

I went to Tabriz for a business trip. It was a nice hotel which was in center of the city. Don'y judge the hotel by its poor view from outside. Inside is nice and clean. I must thank the lovely staff (Men And Women) there. They were very polite and they help strangers a lot!
Not a complete breakfast it had,I expected more. Quite room is a very positive point which I enjoyed it!

In Tabriz , first I stayed one night at a 5 stars hotel named SHAHRIAR , that I ´ve seen in Lonely planet guide book . Then I regret my choice because it was far from the central area and so much isolated ,and moved to Tabriz hotel , much more warmful.
Situated on an important crossing - ABARESAN- this hotel allowed me to feel the real Tabriz , beside the university and a short walking from the excellent restaurant Haji Ali.
The breakfast was quite good and the attendants really symphatic.
Unfortunately the swimming pool was empty (as all the pools I saw at the dry Iran)

After your plane lands in Tabriz International Airport you have to take a taxi to your hotel. Taxi prices are very cheap compared to western world and don't look for metro or public buses in Iran. We payed 3 USD to taxi to our hotel for half an hour voyage for four passengers. If you are going to Iran from the West even from Turkey you have a suspicion about life in Iran. We spent 2 days in October. There is no security problem in Tabriz. The two restrictions are If you are a female you have to obey to use trousers, scarf and a long jacket in your thighs and no alcohol for everybody. The streets are crowded by families and women alone and men as everywhere up to 23:00. The shops are usually open until this hour.

The hotel is in the city center and below average in contradiction to 4 stars at the entrance. Blue Mosque, bazaar, constitution museum and elgoli parks are in the near vicinity of hotel. It is clean but must be renovated. The guys in front office are polite and very helpful. The breakfast is poor according to the 4 star hotels in west. You have to pay everything in cash, credit cards DON'T WORK. You have to visit cave houses in Kandovan village (cappadocia of Iran), a mountainous area at 50 kms south of Tabriz and on the slopes of Sahand Mountains with the beautiful panoramic view surrounded with wall-nut trees. Our guide Mr Emr Gaffari (mobile 0914 4102416) took us to this untouched area with his nice car and stayed there 2 hrs with us and took us back to Tabriz. This trip costed us only $25.
