Dolat Abad garden has the biggest tower of the Yazd city and you can see the tower from hundreds of meters away and some streets away from that spot. the most intresting thing that I remeber was the colorful windows view from inside of the building.

The house is built in the middle of a gorgeous garden. It contains the world's tallest ventilator (a.k.a wind catcher) in the world. Very nice for taking a walk in the garden or just sitting down and soaking the atmosphere. Lots of good photographs can be taken, too!

If you are on a hectic travel schedule, it might be nice to spend an hour in these gardens to catch your breath. Large windtower - it really works ! And the coloured windows make a great background for photographs.

Given that it is a garden, winter isn't the best time to visit, especially when admission is 100,000 rials. The redeeming factor is that this garden has the tallest windcatcher and the grounds are quite lovely for a stroll. If you have time, I think it's an interesting place for a break and to relax. This should be quite lovely in spring.

This was an oasis, where qanat water gently sprayed the air and plants flourished, even at low level. There was a symmetrical octagonal pavilion at one end with stained-glass on every side, so that light and colour would gently suffuse the interior from different directions all day. We had an excellent cup of thick, sweet coffee outside under the trees. It would have felt like paradise except for the hordes of teenage girls who took photos of one another and us.
