“Very cool”
Reviewed 23 December 2013

The grottos are well worth a visit. Take a good camera with a flash so you can get the needed photographs. It's fun looking up at the secluded military base overlooking Lebanon also.

“amazing grottos!!”
Reviewed 20 November 2013

At the tip of Israel on the border with Lebanon..northwest tip...the cable cars go to the amazing grottos. The colors are just breathtaking. A large tunnel is remaining from the train line that was supposed to go through here...bridge was taken out in the 40's ..the large tunnel remains.
Historical plaque tells the story. The cable car descends..rises at a pretty steep angle...very cool.

“Amazing Place”
Reviewed 22 September 2013

We went to see the grottos of Rosh Hanikra.
We were 3 couples with children's.
The view is magnificent. We bought the ticket that combined the golf car that you can travel near the beach (the kids love it), the movie was good before the visit to give us an idea of the grottos. Then we walk in the grottos and see them. I recommend the site to family with or without children.

“Beautiful!!!”
Reviewed 21 September 2013

Try to arrive there early and you will enjoy the beautiful scenery without having to stand in line.
The white rocks and the bright blue water in the grottoes will knock you off your feet.

“A beautiful spot at the very top (of Israel)!”
Reviewed 7 September 2013 via mobile

An hour's north of Haifa, at the very tip of Israel on the lebanese border are beautiful cliffs into the sea with grottos. On a holiday the crowds make it a bit unpleasant, but still worth the trip. The cable car down to the grottos is a minute ride, and the whole visit is about an hour...BUT the best part are the wild beaches just south of this site (a twenty minute walk south)
Make sure you have a couple hours for a beach walk and swim
