Spent one night with my family.
The hotel located in a very old neighborhood.

The hotel is old apartments building that customize and renewed to 3 hostel and not "Hotel " 4 sure not 4 star for my appointment !!!!
After driving 4 hr you will meet "Moriya" at the front desk the -most sour face ever , don't expect any effort to kind of help/supporting with any issues or questions you have.

For example we get locked in our room and when we called for help she started arguing with my wife "how it can happen...", "explain me i dont understand how can it happe..." instead of just send some one.

Dirty room, you can find a mold in the room.

No plate, knife, fork and if you asked those to your room they will not give it to becouse its kosher hotel.
A secret kosher hotels do aloud their guests to use hotel tools .

You can find nicer hotels/hostels or apartment in the same budget.

I arrived with my family of five to this delapitated remnant of a hotel. The rooms were dingy, dirty, and broken. My 15 year old daughter said that it “looked like jail”...
Needless to say we were very disappointed. It is a chutzpah to call this place a four star hotel. It is NOT.

The rooms were very clean and relatively spacious. We had a 2 room family suite. Plenty of room in the kitchen and sitting area even when there were 2 extra beds near the couch. The bedrooms were tight though, especially the one with 2 twin beds (for adults, kids would be better).

The biggest downer here was the shabbat dinner (Friday night). Most nice hotels in Israel have a large Shabbat buffet. This hotel, while having a buffet didn’t even have kiddish wine or challah. The food was “meh” but it didn’t have the wow of many other Shabbat dinners at hotels throughout Israel.

Another point to note is that while there is AC in the unit, there is not AC in every room bedroom. You should clarify this before checking in if that matters to you.

This hotel is the second nicest in Mitzpe Ramon. The nicests hotel is Beresheet and it’s significantly nicer all around. It’s also more expensive, but don’t think staying at Ramon Suites will mimic Beresheet.

I’d still recommend this hotel.

Very nice and clean rooms; The pool was clean and refreshing; Nice amenities. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Wi-Fi in the rooms can be improved. Only worked well in outside common area near pool, and in the lobby.

Room Tip: Wi-fi only worked in lobby and common areas. Not in rooms

The hotel offers apartment like rooms with kitchen and bedrooms for family stay. The rooms are simple but clean. The service is OK but not outstanding. The hotel is located a very short drive to the Ramon crater but the town itself has nothing to offer except very few restaurants. The hotel restaurant offers nice breakfast buffet, but dinners are served quite late. The hotel offers OK accommodations for the price it charges.

Room Tip: If you need the space and more comfort, choose the apartment like rooms
