A Lebanese friend recommended this hotel and we got there very late on a Friday night in winter after a long drive, not knowing what to expect. The owner is a particular man but he helped us navigate to the place and called us every 15 minutes to know where we were and if we found it allright. They put the heating on hours before our arrival and welcomed us with hot drinks. The place itself was a surprisingly charming and warm shelter for the weekend. Especially the restaurant and the bar make you think like you're in a chalet in Switzerland. The location is the best part: right on the ski piste so in the morning you can walk out, rent your gear and start skiing immediately. The rooms are just redone and they lack the initial charm but are very comfortable. The bed was one of the best I've ever slept in and it was so quiet. The view from the window on the snowed cedars and the valley was so nice to wake up with, and so was the breakfast. A wonderful experience!
