After the truly back breaking hour and a half road to get to the hotel you can see a wonderful aspect. The hotel, and guest bungalows, and set literally on the beach overlooking the Mozambique channel.
The bungalows are basic. I really did not like the way they were 'open' in respect that the room and walls didn't meet. It had clear air all the way around so the bugs came in thick and fast and it didn't feel terribly safe. There was also a bird nesting inside in the roof so the top bed was out of bounds due to the little gifts left on the bed!
My major quibble with the rooms is that there was not one plug in the room to charge anything. You had to charge anything in the reception area and leave your items alone to charge which is really odd!
The staff here were very lovely and the food was probably the best out of anywhere on our stay (not difficult). They were also very good as if we didn't want the three course lunch on the menu they would rustle up a sandwich.
All in all a pleasant stay if you just want to sit and read by the pool.
