Spending 4 days at Seaventures was quite a splurge for us, since it costed us a month budget. But we thought it well spend: we got 3 days of Sipadan and enjoyed it very much. The rooms are small but very comfortable and the food is good (desserts are great). They provide coffee, tea, juice and water throughout the day, so it's easy to stay hydrated. Staying at the rig is a special experience in itself.
The dives were always 45 minutes only, which was on the short side for such a special location and high price range (we surfaced with 100 bar most of the time) and groups are big, because in general they put all divers in one group, regardless of experience, cameras etc. They split the group up only once, which was immediately more relaxed diving and the best dive of the lot.
Another minus is the fact that the 2 big tv screens on the bar are always on and blaring loud, and are being watched by the staff only it seems. We would have appreciated some music much more, and I believe this was true for most of the guests. But when we asked, they just laughed at the idea. That's certainly something that could be improved.
Still recommend it though.
