We felt that to enjure 2.5 hours ( each way) on a dusty, bumpy palm oil lined road there needs to be a decent "reward"
The basecamp accomodation is adequate with A/C, fans & hot water but there is not much else.
We spent 3 hours spotlighting along the roads for 1 decent civet cat sighting. We had top guides but feel that your chances of seeing wildlife along the road is not good.
Because it is a managed forest the animals must be there but how to show them to tourists is a problem unless you spend a lot of time jungle trecking.
