At the end of our three week Sabah/Sarawak adventure we rolled into the TreeTops to find an amazing peaceful place - perfect for three nights of relaxation 30 minutes away from the hot bustling metropolis of Miri (4 MYR by bus away). Much better than staying in the city!! The beach is only a short 10 minute walk away...great place for evening walks. We stayed in the room under the main house and had all the creature comforts one could ask for - comfortable bed, fan, and AC. Meals are available on site and are OUTSTANDING. A lady from the village cooks all meals with local ingredients and it was some of the best food we had during our whole time in Malaysia. Trips can be arranged to local sites with a fantastic driver, including the not-to-be-missed Niah Caves which are about an hour or so away. The owners are super friendly and helpful....the place is chock full of surprises...like the amazing garden full of fruit trees and the small pond stocked with fish. If you are contemplating a stay in the Miri area - this is your place.
