The resort is in need of a major refurbishment but the rooms appear to be modernised. Service was good and the staff were freindly. The beach area was nice and the food was decent but not great. I would rate 3.5 Stars overall for the stay. There is a traditional feel to the spacious resort, and service levels are quite alright but further investments might make this a great location for a family vacation.

Room Tip: Avoid Smoking Rooms , and stick to sea view on higher floors

Location and natural surroundings are excellent. Facilities are good especially for families looking for activities with the kids. Rooms are dated and cleanliness can be improved a lot.. I actually spotted some cobwebs..euww! Bathrooms seems to have just been refurbished so they are good.

Been to this hotel for couple of times for business trip. Overall stat was good. The was room nice.

This hotel has a huge swimming pools for adults and children. My kid really love it as it has some sort playground inside the kids pool area. There are plenty of acitivities can be done in this resort... Golfing, cycling, atv ride, private beach and many more.

The downsides of this resort that requires improvement are:
- the staff is not really friendly
- there are quite number of wasps nesting at the hotel main entrance ceiling makes you feel uneasy walking at the room corridor at high floor. Try to avoid high floor room.
- the price is seem to be overpiced compared to other resort that I have stayed with similar range and star rating..

Resorts World needs to improve its online booking system. I didn't receive any confirmation of my booking, which leads me to messaging them on Facebook. Took them few hours and a nudge for them to reply with a screenshot of a whatsapp communication between the internal dept and the ast manager - confirming my booking, which i found to be unprofessional.

The property itself is a massive building located by the beach and surrounded by golf course - Palma Nine and Rimba Nine. There's ample parking if you drive and in no time you'd be greeted by a massive lobby.

Check in was rather quick, but i have to ask for a second keycard as the Front Office staff only provided one in first place. I would also appreciate it if she asked for my bed preference. Was given twin beds although i would prefer a queen bed.

Room was spacious, but the furniture and fixtures are old and tired. Bathroom was clean and spacious with separate shower and toilet. The Deluxe Sea View rooms offer beautiful view facing the South China Sea.

One of the main attraction here is the pool, which is big. And there's a mini water park pool for kids too. The pool is also open for public at a fee (around RM30/pax). There's also a beach bar within the hotel compound, which I decided to skip.

Breakfast was served at the Kampung Meraga Beris Restaurant which was average, except for the popular Nasi Dagang and Roti Jala. The restaurant ambience could be improved as well, as it's i feel its kinda stuffy and abit hot.

Overall, an average 4 star hotel which is ok for a short getaway.

The hotel has a very nice long beach. Our grandkids enjoyed playing on the beach and the swimming pool.
We booked two rooms. At check in (The time was late evening after a long driving from Kuala Lumpur), the bathroom of one of them was dirty. We asked for changing the room but the other room offered to us had a lot of ants. They send the housekeeper to clean the bathroom and we had to wait for a while.
Regarding breakfast, the restaurant was crowded and they were very very slow in refilling the empty plates in the buffet. The waiters and servers were overloaded and don't remove used plates and not responding to our requests. Management should take care of that by provided more stuff or by giving bonus to the existing to accept the hard-work with a smile.
Many facilities are out of order like the Pizzeria and the Spa.
The hotel can be much better by improving the staff performance.

Room Tip: sea view rooms in high floors have nice view
