A wonderful place to stay when you want to explore the kasbah of Ait Benhaddou. Nice authentic rooms and the lounge is perfect to relax and enjoy the free WIFI. The restaurant is OK, but don't be afraid to explore the tajines at other local restaurants.

We stayed here for two nights. The view from the terrace is just marvellous - you can see the entire kasbah. Rooms are basic, but very clean and the beds are good. Bathroom is very basic but everything works. Having breakfast on the terrace is wonderful. The atmosphere made us feel very much at home. The inside patio is a nice place to relax. Because we had been on a rather busy trip we very much enjoyed the second day - seeing the kasbah takes only an hour and this left us with a day "off". Ourzazate is definitely worth a trip. Good restaurants and we even went to the film studios. We had dinner both nights at Dar Mouna, they serve wine and the food is good. The two young men working there are very polite and adequate, they speak English and French.

We made a quick one-day stopover in Ben Haddou in late March and got a room at Dar Mouna even without booking in advance (though management said just the week prior they were fully booked). With little time on our hands this was an excellent choice because we had a clear view of the old town from the balcony fronting several rooms on the second level of the riad. Dar Mouna is tastefully decorated and well maintained. The dinner was also quite nice, as was the service. It's a short and easy walk from the hotel across the riverbed to the old town. The staff was very helpful (fluent in English) and accommodated our early departure the next day. Only quibble was price: a tad on the high side given somewhat quirky plumbing. That said, I recommend.

Room Tip: Not real familiar with the layout & pricing, but would recommend the upper-level rooms that shar...

Welcomed by friendly staff when ariving with a nice Maroccan tea. Hotel is decorated in arabic style, rooms are spacious. Diner was nice. Walt to the ancient city within 5 minutes from the backyard. Unfortunately the shower was not getting very warm, although this seemed a problem in almost all of our Locations during travel in Maroc.

Very nice place in the very exceptional village. Helpful and friendly staff, large rooms and comfortable beds. Bathroom could be bigger but I guess that hot water is all you demand after a long journey from Marrakech to Ait Benhadou. And they have it! Meals in the restaurant were delicious, especially tajine. Value for money, in my opinion.
