A very pleasant stay. Helpful and attentive staff and above average food....in fact the best food we had in Asilah.
Thoroughly clean and very attractive decor all helped to make the experience more enjoyable.
I would highly recommend a visit.

On a trip to Morocco we had been advised to visit Al Alba for their excellent food. We had Accommodation elsewhere so only came for the Restaurant facilities. We went in unsure what to expect but with high expectations due to being advised to go here. Our expectations were not only met but exceeded! The food was delicious! So much flavour! The portion sizes were perfect! As for price.....this was also excellent you don't mind paying a bit more for quality however our bill was 860 dirham (approx 86 euros) between 4 of us, this included 4 starters, 5 mains, 1 desert and drinks! To top it all off the staff were all extremely friendly and did EVERYTHING and ANYTHING they could to see that we enjoyed our experience there.

Food is good, clean restaurant, attentive service, as good as we tried to repeat during our trip. The first time we had booked however we went a second time and they told us that we could not have dinner because there was a lot of people, we were two persons. So if you want to go make sure you book first.

Almost like being in a trendy gastro-pub in London. Food served on slate with little shot glasses of seasoning and pipettes... High standard, ate their twice and didn't have a bad dish, prices in keeping with other restaurants in the area.

If you’re in Asilah and you’re looking for a mouth-watering experience I thoroughly recommend this gem of a find.

The restaurant is spotlessly clean, well-designed and thoughtfully and elegantly decorated with soft lighting creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. The clientele appears to be smart casual and there were single diners, couples and small parties dining on the night I visited.

The owner was on hand to recommend dishes and the smiling, personable staff completed the picture by providing helpful, efficient service.

The menu written in English was available in other language and was sufficiently broad to provide ample choice, but not so extensive as to overwhelm. As well as creams, pasta and meat there was as you would expect because of the location, a range of varied fish dishes.

I enjoyed sour apple cream with foie, a hugely delicious, flavoursome soup about which I salivated for days after and grilled fresh sea bass cooked to perfection. Others with me enjoyed pumpkin cream with walnuts and hazelnuts and leg of lamb with fresh vegetables which tasted as good as it sounds and also the Moroccan menu describing it as ‘a feast’ and ‘delicious and tasty Moroccan food’.

Dessert was a heavenly ‘pears to the wine’ with cinnamon and crepes with caramel cream. In addition there is a comprehensive wine list to choose from and a range of different coffees and teas.

The restaurant is part of the Al Alba hotel, a small quality hotel, although you don’t have to be a guest of the hotel to dine in the restaurant.

In short, the food was sensational, the ambience warm and inviting and the service exemplary, this dining experience is really ‘spot on’.
