“Great Place with wonderful Host and Chef”
Reviewed 5 April 2014

My fiance and I stayed here in late March 2014. The host Ms Rachida is wonderful and the food prepared by Mr Mustafa is excellent. So rich and yummy (not great for the hips though). The lounge area was my favourite spot, partly because I really enjoyed the jazz music CD Ms Rachida played. The only negative for us, was that it was very far out from the town and the road (barely a road) to gain access to the property is not great. so we only stayed for a night as we wanted to be nearer the town. However if you are looking for a place completely cut off from town then this is the place for you. I have to say I loved the architecture of the place.

The house is beautiful, warm, relaxing, we felt immediately at home and didn't want to leave. Nice and helpful people , delicious food and the cutest dogs! We miss them! The atmosphere is so cosy, with good music that we would be very happy to stay longer than the 3 nights.

If you want to disconnect or just discover the Moroccan countryside, this is the place!
It's built with taste and from recycled materials and it's just awesome.
Ask for the dinner, it's just yummy!
And the service too is just perfect.
If you like the beach, tell the staff to show you how to get to "Sidi Mghayt" beach.
First time here and not the last...

Rachida is a great host, very relaxed and friendly which is reflected in her wonderful B&B. we were travelling as a family with our 2 daughters aged 9 and 17. We all loved it, amazing buildings both inside and out, with corners to explore and nooks and crannies to discover. Comfortable beds, tasteful decoration throughout in keeping with the earthy atmosphere, wonderful food, we had tagine for dinner with salad to start, delicious. The storks were extraordinary and donkeys with villagers wandered by from time to time, a very quiet location with good views across pastureland. Rooms/bathrooms didnt have the option of a bright light if you needed one, but this is a minor point. Would have helped if there was a sign off the main road indicating the track as we did get lost!

Nice small B&B on a hill with good rooms and fine meals, lead by the very kind and helpfull Rachida. The rooms are authentic, well decorated and the facilities are o.k. Cosy atmosphere in the lounge / dining room. It is not very convenient to go out at night to Asilah, for example for dinner, because of the poor accessability of the B&B. But their dinners are excellent.

Room Tip: The only negative point is the poor accessability. Difficult to find, no sign at the N1 where you ha...

The Berbari is a wonderful place to explore the countryside, hunt for ocean fossils, and relax on the deck to watch a beautiful sunset over the hills. The owner and staff are absolutely amazing. From the moment you arrive, you feel like you are in your own home away from home.
Let the long, dirt road be a motivation for you to explore this isolated and peaceful retreat.

Room Tip: All of the rooms are unique. Ask to see them then choose!

Difficult to find, Berbari provides an unusual accommodation experience in the Morrocan countryside. You can sit on the pleasant porch and watch the goats, cows, and donkey's go by as they have for centuries.
The common rooms could have been cleaner. Several dogs and cats made themselves home there. (Unfortunately I am allergic to cat hair.) Our room did not have a fan and there was not a lock on the door, which would have been nice.
The food was excellent and fresh.
This place is not for everyone, but I am glad we had a one night stop there.

Room Tip: Upstair rooms are cooler, with a window that opens.
