My wife scheduled our 15 days of Morrocco trip and it was starting from Chefchaouen. After a direct drive of 6 hrs from Casablanca (just after 3 hrs of flight) with a rented small car, you may imagine my stress. But when we entered Casa Perleta the house, our room, energy of the family & guests saved our rest of the trip :) . Thank u all for making or Morrocco holiday unforgetable. Ps. Visiting your restaurant at Spain is already added as our next trip...

Stay here and feel like you're one of the family. We loved the positivity here from management and staff. With a cosy fire and comfy communal area upon entering, it really is like walking into your favourite aunt's house. The friendliness of the staff is contagious and every morning guests bond on the stunning terrace over what has to be one of the best breakfasts in Chefchaouen!

it is a cultural shock to come to marocco the first time and to stay your first night in chefchaouen,
casa perletta.
but the reception by ismael and the care of begonia, the manager, makes you comfortable and assured.
great location on the medina, you have to go by foot the last 100m...,
the location of rooms to the inside yard makes sleep very quite,
and chefchaouen itself is absolutely amazing.
i do not know, how long it lasts, but go as soon as you can!

Room Tip: ask ismael or begonia and tell her your needs.

This place and Paloma are amazing. She was incredibly warm, friendly, and super helpful! We arrived from a long bus ride to Chaouen and she greeted us and showed us everything we needed. She had great dinner recommendations and suggestions about how to spend the short time we had there!

I would definitely come back to Chaouen and stay at Casa Perleta!

With a great location in the heart of the old city of Chefchaouen this bed and breakfast is a great value. When we arrived to the city, our driver dropped us off at the wrong gate. We were confused as to how to find the place. We called the hotel and they quickly came down to our location and helped walk us to the place while assisting with our luggage during the process. The rooms are comfortable and a steal at the current prices. One thing I noticed though is that all the pillows were not equal. We originally had some crappy hard pillows, but the housekeeper switched out our pillows with those from another room upon request. It made quite the difference on the sleep quality. I'm happy to see the hotel has reached # 1. The hotel exterior is beautifully decorated to blend in with the blue walls of the city and it doesn't stop there, as the interior also matches the blue theme. Great rooftop terrace for breakfast. Their breakfast spread was the best we had while in Morocco and includes some delicious goat cheese from the local cooperative. The service was fantastic throughout our visit.

I visited Morocco for a week from 16th Feb, and planned a 2 day trip to Chefchaouen. Through tripadvisor, I came to know about Casa Perleta. I was slightly confused initially, but started getting great response back from Casa Perleta on how to go about booking the rooms. They gave different options for accommodating 2 families, as there are different rooms suiting each of our needs.

Once we reached the hotel, we were welcomed by the warm hospitality of the staff. We had our tea on the garden terrace, and enjoyed the stunning views from there. The sunset is a treat as this is located very close to the mighty Chefchaouen mountain.

Hotel staff gave many tips for the dinner options, and turned out to be a every memorable experience.

We followed the instructions to the parking area outside the gate of the medina, and then hired a local to walk us to the riad. It's not hard to find, but the first time you're there, having a guide is helpful, as it was further in to the medina than we'd anticipated.

Casa Perleta is well-maintained, well-furnished and decorated and features a central courtyard and a roof terrace. The views over the roof terrace were picturesque. The included breakfast was served on the terrace, and was the basic Moroccan fare.

Our room had some nice details, scalloped archway, painted wood ceiling, and Moroccan polished plaster (tadelakt) in the bathroom. Well-furnished, but a bit tight around the bed -- you had to climb over the bed to get to the other side. But overall, clean, cute and cozy. One con was that the walls were a bit thin, so you could hear conversations from other rooms.

Wifi worked well in the room.
Everywhere in the medina was easily walkable from this location. And being on a main street, it was easy to find again.
