I just want to thanks Ana and Carlos for making us to feel like at home during our trip to Morocco in Chefchauen. The Hotel is very quite, awesome views to the town and at the mountains, extremely clean, tidy and very comfortable room. The breakfast with a moroccan style was very generous with "safe/healthy" local products. We were lucky and so pleased to share with Carlos and Ana a day at the local market buying fruits, vegetables and suits. They are well known there and experiencing see Ana speaking in Arabic to the traders and buying groceries was very much enjoyable. A must stop while you travel through Morocco.

We had already spent 7 days in Marrakech and Fes by the time we made it to Chefchaouen. I wish we had made this our first stop, as it was our best experience in Morocco. If you value walking around and getting to chit-chat with friendly locals, down-to-earth food, little haggling over prices and no pressure to buy anything, then Chefchaouen is the place to go. And for accommodation, Casa la Palma was a perfect oasis for us. Cute and brightly decorated with local paintings, lamps, blankets and other furnishings that we saw at the shops all over town. Modest, not fancy -- and made me wonder why I had chosen fancy spots else where in Morocco anyway, when you could have friendly places like Casa la Palma to stay at. Ana and Carlos were perfect hosts -- available but not in your face, friendly and knowledgeable. They speak excellent English and served wonderful breakfasts each morning -- with some of the best olive oil I've ever had. They steered us to restaurants that served good clean food that wouldn't make us sick, and advised on best routes for walking. They're natural hosts. We stayed an extra day! I didn't want to leave! Great value.

I can't say enough good things about Casa La Palma and its wonderful owners, Ana and Carlos, a Spanish couple who have been living in Chefchaouen running their guest house for 7 years. The home is beautiful. Colorful, cheery, and clean, with a roof terrace overlooking the incredibly beautiful Chefchaoen. I loved our room, and the gorgeous view down the narrow street and onto the mountains.

On arrival, Carlos met us at an entrance to the medina at a time we had arranged for, and helped us carry our bags to the hotel. When we left, they both helped us carry our things and brought us to where we could get a taxi to the bus station.

I had a bad stomach bug for our first couple of days there that was showing no signs of improving. I mentioned it to Ana, and she made me a special drink of lemon juice, water and a bit of salt, and it made me feel better in a couple of hours, and cleared me up completely within about 24 hours. She also cooked me special food to help. She was truly a lifesaver, and I couldn't be more thankful for all her help. Ana also helped give us shopping tips and advice, and let us know what fair prices for things were. In general, Chefchaouen seemed to have much better prices than other cities we visited too.

If you're unsure of whether or not to visit the city, do! You'll never see anything like it anywhere else on earth. It's breathtaking, and by far the most laid back city we visited in Morocco. And if you go, please stay at La Palma. You'll be glad you did. It's worth warning that there are a lot of stairs between the main square and the hotel, and a lot of stairs in the city in general as it's built on a mountain side, so take that into account if it could be a problem for you. I should also mention that as a gay couple, we received no problem here or at any other hotel we stayed at in Morocco.

Look no further. You won't be disappointed (unless you don't like climbing steps - of which there are many to reach this fantastic "home")
Ana and Carlos are amazing hosts - accomodating beyond expectations.
Rooms are spacious, comfortable, clean & quiet.
Breakfast was superb and very filling. Mint tea one of the best in Morocco and fantastic coffee.
Chefchaouen is a delightful town to visit and staying at Casa la Palma made it hard to leave.
We stayed here 3 nights and would happily have stayed longer. Sad to leave. We will be back

Really nothing to add to those who were happy to come to Casa La Palma before us, it was a really delightful experience to stay there, to visit the beautiful town and - probably the warmest and most cordial recollection - the wounderful couple, Carlos and Ana. Were very greatful and would like to come again.

There isn't much more to add after the many other positive reviews. Ana and Carlos, the owners, made our stay in Chefchaouen wonderful. After time in Fes it was a breath of fresh air to have hotel owners who speak fluent English and Spanish. My wife liked the decorations in the hotel so much that she even sought out some of the local rugs and blankets to buy herself. (By the way, if you plan to buy artisan work do it here directly from the artisans, and not in Fes or a larger city. Many artisans train here and the prices are much, much cheaper). In addition the hotel was spotless with western-style amenities (large shower, etc.). The breakfast was wonderful and some of the best fresh-squeezed orange juice I have ever had. If all hotel owners were as pleasant and accommodating as Ana and Carlos, travel would be less stressful.

We stayed one night at this very nice B&B. It is beautifully maintained with great views from its pleasant terrace. Ana and Carlos are super hosts- very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very comfortable and quite spacious (most can serve as triples). We had a wonderful breakfast served to us by Carlos on the terrace.

Definitely will consider a return trip to hike more and further enjoy this B&B.

Be aware that there is a hill climb up steps to reach the B&B and pack accordingly.
