We were picked up at the Altagracia ferry port at 6:15pm on a Thursday and driven to the B&B for 25US(fair price as it took 1hr). The ferry is a 4hr trip from Granada that runs only two days a week. The ride out to the finca is a little rough but it sure feels like your going on an adventure.
On arrival greeted by all the dogs, birds and owners and a nice pasta. Accomadations simple and clean. The power goes out often but we were always able to have a warm shower (temperature very hot in April).
Breakfast is from 7 to 9 and is very good. It is made by local women who are very kind. One of them (Angela?) made a gift for my wife on her birthday. Cleaning is done every day.
Spent a lot of time in the hammock watching all the animals (from pigs to monkeys). Went to a couple of restaurants in the area that were good (Caballito's de Mar for fresh fish),
We stayed 6 days and were sad to leave this place that is from another time.
