“Can be missed”
Reviewed 23 April 2014

Good information, but not worth the money of the entrance ticket. The gardens outside are shady but not that many exocrine plants.

“Don't miss this!”
Reviewed 21 April 2014

We asked the bus to stop on the way back from Machu Picchu. The small compact museum really gave great background and context to the amazing Machu Picchu site. Well worth the stop and the walk back to town.

“Worth it”
Reviewed 10 November 2013 via mobile

About a 20-30 minute walk from town...you'll think you aren't headed in the right direction after a while, but keep going. 22 soles per person. Displays in English and Spanish. Good information.

“Worth the walk down the dusty road”
Reviewed 2 November 2013

The museum is small and it does not seem many people visit. It's very well laid out and the exhibits are clear and in both English and Spanish The walk down is not pleasant with busses almost running you over and dirt blowing everywhere
It's located right near the bridge that takes you to MP. It's next door to the Botanical Gardens which are worthy of a quick look.
