Plan & simple this hotel is average as pretty much all the hotels in Aguas Calientes are. I did however enjoy my stay and went with the flow of what this small town has to offer. Rooms were clean, airy, and had en suite bathrooms. The only compliant was having no TV in room to catch up on International news. Other than that, the staff was friendly and the hotel is in great location and walking distance from everything.

I dont have much to complain about here. The hotel was booked for us by our tour operator. It was cute, easy to find, the service desk lady was available to help whenever we needed it, it had a basic room set up with comfy bed and bathroom, and breakfast was nice. They held our things locked up and safe while we were touring Machu Pichu. On the night we stayed, there was a lot of noise outside our window, if it wasnt for the ear plugs we brought, we would have never fallen asleep! It was so noisy! I bet thats how it is everywhere you stay in Aguas Calientes, so my only suggestion is to take ear plugs! I thought it was good value for a one night stay.

The aspect I most liked was that hotel transfers your luggage for you directly to the train station so you don't have to return after your visit to Machu Picchu. Otherwise, the wifi was a little slow and breakfast seemed spoiled.

Stayed here with my husband during our tour of South America, everthing was booked by our agent, so no idea what we paid for this hotel.
Inti Inn is a 10 min walk from the station, some of it up a fairly steep hill, not a problem as we only had an overnight bag with us. It is a fairly basic hotel, lovely welcome from the Receptionist and despite our early arrival our room was ready. A bit on the small side, with a tiny window overlooking a small space between two buildings. The bathroom was small, and dated too, but all very clean. The twin beds were comfy and there were spare blankets for extra warmth.
We were concerned by the noise from a nearby "Pub", but it stopped around 9 30 pm.
Breakfast was a good chice of foods and juices, tea and coffee, pefectly adequate.
There is a computer (rather old) for guests use (free), the receptioist was very helpful with this too.
The hotel will hold your luggage for you and deliver it to the station in time for your train. I understand the also have a collection service if required on your arrival.
All in all a perfectly adequate place to stay

I would have prefered a better hotel, but it is difficult to find something in budget within a small town of aqua calientes.
Inti inn was decent. It had small rooms... and bathroom. But everything was neat and clean.
Breakfast was included and they stored our bags while we were on machu pichu and also directly brought them to the train station for our departure.

It was ok for 1 night stay.

Conveniently located.

You can walk throughout aquas calientes anyways.

Room Tip: ask for a queen bed...

We booked through our tour operator who promised this hotel was of equal standard to our first choice, El Mapi, which was unfortunately fully booked.
Sadly this was not the case ... We passed by El Mapi on our walk up to Inti Inn and when we arrived at Inti Inn we realized the hotel was of much lower quality.

While the lady at the check in desk was very hospitable, our five flight climb up the stairs included traversing piles of dirty laundry and navigating staff who were folding sheets and towels on the staircase.

Our room was tidy but basic in the extreme. We overlooked what looked like a junk yard. The toilet bowl was marked with something I can't begin to describe..,.

The hotel is dingy and in need of an overhaul. We left after ten minutes and booked a last minute room at El Mapi ... Luckily they had last minute availability.

Really basic place to stay and terrible value for money. For the high price you basically get a room and bed. No TV, no wardrobe, no space.

We booked a triple room for myself, my wife, daughter and baby and a single room for my mother. The rooms were the same size but don't think that means the singles are big! They crammed three small beds into a single room, we had no space and even had to move the beds to close the curtains!

The window was a sliding door with no locks or latches which meant we had to constantly watch the children as even the 14 month old could open the sliding door and walk straight out onto a 4 storey drop. There were dodgy electrics which we also had to keep the children away from.

The pluses, the shower was hot and the sheets were clean but you can get this and a lot more in cheaper place in Aguas Calientes.

If I hadn't have already booked and paid for this place I would have laughed and walked away.
