We booked a day trip to Ballestas Island and then a flight over the nazca lines with Ronald. The itinerary that was provided to us didn't match up at all with the reality and we got the feeling that he had promised us much more than was realistically doable in 1 day. The boat trip didn't work out because of the strong waves (obviously not his fault) but the whole day felt very stressful because he kept changing the timing of the plans and blaming everyone else for why things were going wrong. He blamed the traffic, his driver, the flight company, and even us for a 5 minute bathroom break. He had scheduled us to head back to the airport in Lima at 4pm in order to catch our international flight but instead we were still on the Nazca flight until 5:15. He kept telling us to trust him and that he would make up the time by driving faster, which was not so reassuring. i definitely had more motion sickness on the crazy drive back to the airport (including 2 near accidents) than the Nazca flight. All in all, it felt very disorganized and unprofessional.

We booked a sandboarding tour to Cerro Blanco and had an absolute blast!! They accomodated nicely to our last minute reservation and were very helpful and informative. Ronald is a nice guy, and our guide, Zenon, was just awesome. He was very patient as we learned to stand on the board and had great knowledge of the culture, flora and fauna. He had a special connection with nature and the mountain. We really enjoyed spending the day with him.
The hike up the dune was not too exhausting and we stopped often to observe the views and learn from Zenon.
The only negative experience came at the time of paying. They price everything in dollars and then use their own conversion rate when you pay in soles. It was a sour end to a sweet sweet day...

Although the price is slightly high, (140 PEN/person) we would still repeat the experience.

PS. Do not attempt to go without a guide, you need to know which slopes to descend and what the proper technique is. Accidents happen if you dont know the mountain.

Today, we competed the one day tour of Colca canyon. Due to our schedule, we had to make this one day or not at all. While it was a long day it was terrific. Yes, when you sign up you can have other tours on the ~20 people bus. We prepaid and had no issues. The knowledge of the guide was really good.

We recently went on the one day trip at Colca Canyon with Peru Dream Travel. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We had to ride on the back of a noisy, full of dust and uncomfortable mini van for more than three hours each way. We couldn't listen to the tour guide and worst of all they did not provide the tour sold. They decided to put a bunch of people from different tour companies that had different itineraries.

Additionally, we paid double of what the other people paid for the same tour. And when we contact them via email they didn't have the decency of replying to our email.

The Colca Canyon is a WONDERFUL place, but please use other company and make sure they don't rip you off.

I was a little nervous in using Peru Dream Travel for my low cost visit to Nazca because I could find little history on them. However, my daughter and I wanted to see the Nazca lines without flying and there were few alternatives that fit with our schedule. Ronald was helpful in customizing this for us. His driver and guide met our bus, bringing lunch with them for us. They took us to two viewing towers which gave us good overviews of the area. They explained how the lines were thought to have been created and showed us how sensitive the surrounding area really is to human disturbance. Ronald wanted to ensure everything had gone well and ended up giving us a personal walking tour of Nazca in the evening to find a bank that would accept my debit card.
