“Perfect for everyone”
Reviewed 4 April 2014

We stayed here in July 2013 just for 1 night. Not long enough to fully rate it, but enough for a good impression. It was not busy in Sagada at the time we were there, neither in RG.The owners were very nice and everything was very clean in our double room. We loved the common sala with tv, just to hang out and relax. Our impressions were overall very positive, although we had some salamander friends in our room. But really, that's everywhere.. anyway he kept the flies away. plus!

this is our "official home" in Sagada,Tita Mary the ever hospitable & caring owner as well as her children William Jr. & Angel..located at the center of the town, they offer free flowing coffee to guests & cook our own meals in the kitchen for free..we have the most comfortable bed & warm blankets during our stay and we have the chance to use the fireplace! that's great-only in Residential lodge of Daoas family..tita Mary takes time to share the rich Sagada & its people's history..other lodges & inns are sprouting in Sagada but we'll keep coming back to Residential lodge with our backpacks full of etag, blueberry jams & the the best memories of this place.

Got to stay here for the December bonfire event. We were 6 in 1 room so they had to give us one extra mattress. It's actually okay since it gets really hard to find a room around Sagada in December. The bathroom (hot/cold but weak in water pressure) is shared outside the room but surprisingly didn't have to wait on any other guests a lot. We paid P250/person/night with free coffee in the morning. They also implement a curfew, we had to knock on the windows after coming in a bit late from the bonfire.

No wifi.

My husband and I stayed here early January 2014. We had a double room with private bathroom. The room was spacious and clean. We had one double bed and one single bed. The mattress and pillows were average (basic foam mattress). The shower had good hot water. The guesthouse is very well located in the middle of town. The owners are welcoming and polite. There is wifi on the main floor. Overall, it was a great place to stay and explore Sagada.

Going Sagada generally calls for an adventure, so I must assume that each and every lodging here will not be thrown much effort quality-wise. However, if you're just looking for a quiet place to stay after an adventurous day, RG is perfect. They have free coffee and water, common sala and spacious room. Water heater does the job but fireplace is no avail. For what it's worht, you won't expect that much.

Spent 2 nights here while traveling around Sagada. Rooms size is okay, double bed is the smallest I've seen - fine if two of you are not overweight. Good wireless internet connection in the lobby area and free tea/coffee through the day.

Lots of cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Actually everything in Sagada is.

The lady who runs the place is really friendly. Considering its only 250ps for a clean private room and the shared showers are clean and have hot water its really good value. Like the rest of sagada its really boring at night but I did meet some nice people here.
