as lemon pie is my favorite i had to come and eat it in this so much raved place. just to be so disappointed that it even left me speechless. i dont even have words for this! the crust is the cheapest and softes dough you can imagine. the lemon part has no lemon taste at all. i ate the slice wanting to like it as everybody was raving about it. even thought it might be an accident and gave it another go and failed again! same bland taste as first time. the texture is just terrible too! the only explanation i have for this much praised pie and its popularity might be is that because its in guide books people like it. and/or people who like this pie never really ate a lemon pie before! or they just have been traveling in very remote areas for very long time and didnt have any deserts at all and now finally having one...... i saw tourist, mainly filipinos from manila, buying several boxes of whole pies to bring home as a specialty from sagada. its the thing to do when you visit sagada,so i was told when asking a filipino when seeing him buying 5 boxes to bring as a gift back home.
oh,dont even bother ordering any other food as well. its just such a waste of money!!!!!

although i didn't find the lemon pie too great, i enjoyed our breakfast :) choice was longganisa or hotdog, eggs -omelet or sunny side up. their rice was more than your usual yang-chow - so that was quite nice. we didn't feel short changed at all (after we ate at unfriendly, expensive Yoghurt house the night before)
place was clean and homey, with baskets as lamp shades and cushions as seats on the floor :)

Good place to chitchat with friends - spacious and homey. Pies are very affordable 30 pesos per slice. i tried all the pies offered but I was not impressed at all.

The lemon pie is unique as you don't often see a lemon pie in Philippines but it is just a normal pie that tasted sour and a bit sweet. We had breakfast here and I ordered a set meal - longganisa, 2 eggs on top and rice. Good value for your money and it taste better than the Yogurt's House breakfast set meal.

After our 4 hours trek at Marlboro Country, we take our lunch at Lemon Pie. First thing i noticed is the good ambiance, Japanese style where you can take a meal in a cross-legs position, enjoy your big servings of either chicken curry (one of their specialty), vegetarian meal and for kids try their chicken with rice and french fries. We also ordered their lemon mountain tea, so refreshing and taste good. Before we leave SAGADA, we also ordered Lemon Pie and Apple Pie...lemon pie taste better compared to the latter. Not bad at all.
