“leisurely hike”
Reviewed 3 May 2014

It's a hike that's not too difficult and not too easy either, specially the part going down the valley to get up close to the hanging coffins. For the less adventurous (fit), you can catch a glimpse of the coffins from afar when you're at the top. Just don't go there when it's raining or immediately after, as it can get slippery. You may opt for a guide, but that's not really necessary and you can save a bit going there by yourselves. Just walk past the church and up and beyond the cemetery and a trail will lead you to the coffins. One more thing, do try out the echo feature when you're at the top. It's quite fun. You might be amazed that sometimes the echo is different from yours, as we did. Turned out someone was shouting back at us from below, answering our every yell!

“a nice walk”

You can do this walk by yourself, you could take a guide, but you don't really need it. A long the way you have look out points to the hanging couffins.

“trees have grown”
Reviewed 22 April 2014

the limestone that used to echo voices back is now surrounded with trees. echo valley is still a beautiful sight - and the way to the hanging coffins - but the echo as an attraction has, i think, become minor.
