Fantastic views at this hotel . The rooms were wonderful and the staff would always go an extra mile for you. Loved the breakfasts and nothing was too much trouble for the waiter. Staff always very friendly and helpful and felt part of my family. I had a lovely week and would love to go back.

Room Tip: I had a balcony room and it was huge

My family and i stayed at the Per Astra for 7 nights and enjoyed every minute of it ,as soon as you arrive the views from the hotel are fantastic ,the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly.
The ensuite rooms are spacious and nicely done , and the food was great .
I have recommended visiting this area and particularly this hotel to my family and work colleagues .and we would love to visit there again one day.

Room Tip: Try and get a room over looking the the bay of kotor its special.

We spent 2 nights at perastra hotel. Very nice bedroom, nice and very helpfull staff, nice view, beautiful swimming pool. Too bad the restaurant here is not as good as the hotel, but the breakfast is good.

We've been here only for one night, but we enjoyed our stay very much. We've had the honeymoon-suite - whole in white - very nice, cosy and comfortable with a nice view over the boka.
The staff was extraordinary friendly and helpfull.

Spent 6 nights at Per Astra at the end of '13 season. The hotel's location is marvellous, perched above the town of Perast with a breathtaking view of the Bay of Kotor from the poolside patio, It is a small and intimate hotel, only 11 rooms and feels very private and perfect for couples. Entrance to the hotel by car is tricky with a narrow winding bobsled run. Walking access to the town is a flight of stone steps - 10 minutes and good exercise. The hotel service is excellent from the front desk, bar/ restaurant and housekeeping - friendly and professional. Our room had its design oddities: the room is expansive but furnishings were mixed, from modern to faux french antique. the bathroom window at eye level from the toilet to the hotel parking (easily fixed by closing the outside shutter), The window from the bathroom to the bedroom was a bit weird - have seen it before in India but that view was to the shower instead of the whole expansive bathroom - as I wrote above, it is an intimate expereince. The shower was tempermantal, running hot then cold - hotel offered us to change rooms. The shower would benefit by installing a glass wall to prevent flooding the bathroom floor. The a/c did not function which was OK as the nights were cool. We had dinner at the hotel several evenings - excellent, the only exception being the coffee. Breakfast was dissappointing and needs refinement (and better coffee). Bar service was attentive but they ran out of Schweppes tonic and it took 2 days to replenish the stock. The local Vranac red wine is the smarter choice for Happy Hour. These shortcomings did not offset our overall experience with the hotel which we rate highly. We look forward to staying there again next year and recommend the Per Astra to couples looking for a 2-3 night romantic stay overlooking the beautiful Bay of Kotor.
