We stayed in Hit Maestral Hotel 3 times. Private parking, Hotel on one of the best beaches in Montenegro. Beach is private for hotel guests only- with no extra charge. Pool area is nice too. We didnt use inside swiming pool. Spa and massages are also very good. room with balcony sea wiev are nice. Breakfast and dinner are self service - average, there is enough food but nothing special.

Then and now ...: (((
Once this hotel and the beach was a confluence of reputable people .. people .. fine with a sophisticated taste because that was such a wonderful place .. beach .. fishing village .. today .. today is the result of some new transitional tastes that are not preserved anything .. concrete building in front of the hotel .. beach is small, as always .. but now .. pointless with surrounding apartment buildings .. I do not know in which category to classify him .. he is a product of a time that consumerism is not able to maintain the basics, sophistication and a high level of service quality ..: ((

Last time I stayed here was something like 10 years ago and little changed since than...for a better I mean. Rooms appear to be outdated, old fashioned resort style design dominates, bathroom is not dazzling neither. Reception area is spacious and provides impression of luxury hotel, whereas everything else is actually up to three star hotel standards. Conference room is situated next to the casino which I find quite odd. It seems that main reason for visiting this resort may probably be a gamble, most of visitors are Italians.
On a more positive note, surrounding areas, including hotel beach, mountains, outside pool, etc are just amazing. Hotel itself fits astonishly well in the area by looking from the outside.

I stayed for a work meeting and as far as hotel's go it was not bad. The breakfast, lunch, and dinner were all served in the restaurant. I found the food to be decent. Breakfast wasnt much and for some odd reason they put the fruits, e.g., bananas, out at lunch and dinner. A better selection could be provided at breakfast. The waiter staff was quite good, so I don't understand complaints there that i see in review. The room was smaller size, but i had decent balcony and nice ocean view. The heat was a bit much and i couldn't control it...so fortunately it was quiet enough to open the door/window and enjoy some cooler air and hear the waves. The swimming pool was quite nice, but the gym is very small. Improvement needed there. The spa was excellent and i had one of the best professional thai massages i have had in a long time. One other problem - the hotel has no irons or ironing boards...so iron ahead of time or you need to use their laundry service. Overall, a decent hotel but with a few improvements i would rate it as very good.

Room Tip: get a room on the sea side! higher floor.

I have just returned from this hotel and I have to say that it was much better than the last time I was there. This time I got a room in the new, reconstructed and refurbished part of the Hotel, which was really great (except for a rather firm mattress). (Those room numbers start with 14...). That room was a really contemporary one with all modern amenities and tastefully decorated ('old' rooms in the hotel are rather simple, without some basics, not up to my standards and taste). It was exceptionally clean, with new bed linen, beautiful Italian style bathroom with sunken bath, bidet, bathrobes and slippers (of a much better quality than before). There is an amazing digital air-conditioning in those new rooms - really state-of-the-art. Food a the restaurant was great, as usual.
However, if you do not like dining at the hotel all the time, do try Langousta restaurant which is just on the left hand side from the hotel when you go down the stairs leading to the beach. It is considered to be one of the best restaurants on the Montenegrin coast anyway, and I had the most memorable dinner ever - fish with vegetables baked in an oven is absolutely delicious!
This time I did not dare go for a massage in the spa centre, as it really hurt last time and I was bruised for days. Service at the hotel is generally very good, however, they usually have only one person at a time at the reception, which can be frustrating when there are many people waiting to check in and check out. Do not use the supermarket opposite the hotel unless you absolutely have to, as it is ridiculously expensive- prices are doubled compared to the markets even in Budva and definitely to those in Podgorica, the Capital of Montenegro. The same goes for the boutiques in the hotel lobby.

Room Tip: Ask for the new rooms, they are fabulous!

Stayed in the hotel for a conference. The rooms in the main building are overlooking the bay but I ended up in the side wing, behind other beach front buildings and with literally no view at all. Size of the rooms is also very small and carpets need refurbishment. Food is sub-standard so overall nothing good to report about this place. Stay elsewhere, plenty of more attractive options available nearby.

Room Tip: ask for a room in the main building, upper floor and check it out before agreeing to stay.

I stayed at the Maestral for a conference rather than as a tourist, so I didn't try any of the facilities other than the conference hall and restaurant. My room was fine, nice view of the sea with a balcony. Very private with good high walls either side. Some basic furniture on the balcony, which was fine. The room was clean and had all I needed. They will soon need to redecorate a bit, especially in the bathroom around the tiling. The free wifi worked well. You can drink the tap water which saves on having to find bottled water. The food was fine, nothing special, but perfectly edible. The conference facilities were good and we were able to spill out onto the sun terrace during the breaks. I wouldn't book here for a holiday; it seems to lack the personal touches. But for conferences it's good and serves the purpose well.

Room Tip: 1504 is nice. Quiet and with a sea view.
