Wonderful hotel with a great view of Sveti Stefan itself. We had a lovely big garden suite, which had a comfortable bedroom, large sitting area, small kitchen and a very nice bathroom. The staff were excellent, service was attentive and friendly but not overbearing. The walk to the beach is down some steps and not as arduous as you think. Lovely infinity pool and terrace and bar. We had dinner in the restaurant a couple of times, beautiful terrace and very good food. The car park is useful as the road can get very busy. We stayed six nights and it was a great base for exploring the whole coast from Tivat to Ulcinj. Highly recommended for a relaxing break.

Brilliant Boutique Hotel. Breathless Infinity pool and bar was a treat overlooking a tranquil view of the sea and mountains. Staff extremely helpful. We opted for a ground room with terrace as opposed to larger suit with balcony. We were here before crazy holiday season. Guests were mixed, but largely Russian and British. Nearby Old town Budva offered alternative beaches and interesting fortress town history.

It was great holidays.i was impressed with the terrace view of the room. Moreover, we were welcomed by a bottle of wine on our arrival. Mr.Luka, the owner ot the villa, could help us solve any problems and answer any questions.

Room Tip: Upstairs rooms are worth booking

Situated on the hill overlooking Sveti Stefan, Villa Montenegro offers wonderful views, well-appointed rooms, and service that is exceptional. This hotel may have the best views in all of Sveti Stefan, including the higher-priced hotel down the street. Every single staff member we interacted with was extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, and gracious. Villa Montenegro is a (very) short walk to the beach, and we recommend enjoying some of their cocktails next to the pool as you watch the sunset.

Since returning, we've recommended Sveti Stefan and this hotel in particular to several couples looking to plan a trip to Montenegro.

I cannot more highly recommend this hotel. It is perfect from beginning to end. I stayed here with my husband for 3 nights in late August and could not have been happier. The restaurant is also delicious. The rooms and pool area are fantastic. Also, great proximity to explore Budva and Kotor, etc. Much more scenic place to stay than Budva. You have the most amazing view of Sfeti Stephan island too. We went to eat one night at the Aman there. Great food, great atmosphere but highly recommend staying here instead.

This hotel has the potential to become a lovely boutique hotel. Nice facilities, not many rooms, amazing view of Sveti Stefan, friendly staff and comfy bed BUT it is definitely not worth the price.

We had the standard room and even though the website implied sea view, we had no view at all. The terrace is not private, it is just the outside path to access the rooms. There was indeed a terrace nearby with 4 deck chairs but it was a public space so anyone in the hotel could sit there.

The bedroom was all right but the bathroom was certainly not worth of a 5* hotel.
First of all it was smelly, a smell of sewage which was quite unpleasant... Then the shower was very basic. I would expect a walk in shower in this type of hotel but it was a simple corner plastic one, with the doors not even closing properly and the hot water playing up. There was also no storage at all in the bathroom, not even a shelf to put your toiletry bag on.

But what really annoyed me is to have to pay for a lot of extra (even though we paid £300 per night). At breakfast for instance, you were served pastries, fruits, a juice and a hot drink. If you want eggs, then you have to add another €3 or 4. Same if you want a yoghurt or cereals. Then again they have a private beach. But if you want to go you have to take a boat which will cost you €50 for the return trip. Same for the parking. You will be charged €15 per day to use it.

My husband and I have travelled a lot and we came to the conclusion that this hotel has a massive pricing issue. They should either charge less for what they currently offer, or adjust their standards to a real 5* hotel. In the meantime I would advise you choose a different alternative.

We recently stumbled onto the Villa and booked 2 nights. Upon arrival we were greatest by staff, shown to our room and given a tour of facilities. The room we booked was not available so we were upgraded to a suite. We arrived in the dark but awoke to the most amazing view and went to breakfast overlooking the Aman resort Sveti Stefan which we planned to stay at on the third night. We spoke to staff and the Villa GM at breakfast and we decided to extend stay one more night. They moved rooms around to fit us in and provided advice on the area, places to eat and organised transport with hotel driver equel to taxi fares.
After realizing this place is an absolute gem we extended our stay to a fourth night, the Villa GM amazingly managed to return our hire car to Drubrovnik for us at an extremly fair price.
This is truly the most amazing place I have ever stayed, we even considered moving our March Honeymoon to the Villa but seasons do not match.
We will be back for a week long visit next Summer and cannot wait.
All the staff, from Driver, night security through to the GM Felipe, made the stay very personal and very relaxing! Local advice from Melitza was on the mark, they all made us feel like we were staying at their home.

This is 5 Star plus!

Thanks Villa Montenegro
