Stayed 2 nights loverly location close to the lake. Booking in was via the bar in the dining area, unfortunately it was late Sunday afternoon and patrons were paying bills etc, it took a good 30 minutes to get into our rooms .......not the fault of staff who were over worked. Our twin room was small and "L" shaped, it is not possible to watch TV whilst both reclining in each bed ???? The slim balcony has only glimpses of the lake. Our bathroom was very small, requiring side saddle on the toilet because the hand basin protruded into ones body space and the closing of the bathroom door was easier with one foot in the shower recess. A main light switch was hidden behind a cupboard. Upon our return mid afternoon the second day our rooms had not been serviced.
Dinner the first night was acceptable once we found a corner without too much cigarette smoke, but the second night the mushroom sauce liberally covering the overcooked offering below was so salty that the meal was impossible to eat, we eventually were given a refund. Breakfast was consistent Juice, Eggs anyway, Toast and good coffee. The staff fell into two categories those who could speak English were very attentive and those who could not who treated us as it we had some fungal disease. There is only on other hotel in the area so the choice is rather limited.More
