Spent 5 days in this hotel with my family. Rooms are nice, warm and clean. Food is excellent (my kids loved it - and they are very "hard" regarding food selection).
Receptionists are very helpful and polite. We shall come again - definitely

Booked this hotel for a short get away, nothing really great about this hotel in side but has a nice setting surrounded by wood land, big car park and an easy place to start out for walks in the area. In the room the sitting area was very small and the bed room was very large with a sloping roof so you had to bend your necks when you were walking around. There did not seem to be many people staying when we were there and the hotel had an empty feel. The staff were nice and friendly and all in all it did offer value for money. Wireless was excellent so you can keep in touch with the rest of the world.

Small, renovated hotel located on a nice position, in a quite area, surrounded with pine trees. Couple of minutes walking from noisy, downtown area and close to the main walking paths. Big parking spot outside the hotel. It is easy to find from the main road.
Wireless internet was working excellent in all hotel areas.
Apartments are spacious for families with children. Room cleaning was every day, with changing towels. Two TV sets in the apartment.
The only thing that could be better is a restaurant. Portions are quite large, but not a great variety of meals was offered. Changing of the table cloths could be more often. Cutlery was not always clean as it should be.
That is why I will not give the excellent mark for this hotel.
For three stars ranked hotel It was good value for money.

We booked this hotel as all other seemed to be booked that week, and this one also was rated 'fabulous' on Booking.com. However, there is nothing fabulous about this hotel. It is clean, quiet, not far from anything you might want to visit, good breakfast if you are staying for just a couple of days, staff was friendly enough. But to be rated fabulous you need to deliver so much more.

What we didn't like was the outdated furniture and the suite that just did not work - seemed like everything was in the wrong place and no possibility of a view although a nice forest covered in snow was just outside.

Finally, if you have to stay here, it is OK. But if you can choose, go somewhere else.

Room Tip: make sure you ask for a view from bed, otherwise it will be 'behind' you all the time.

To give some context to the review I am a canadian, but grew up in Serbia (so I could find my way around easily). So, I cannot comment on the staff language skills, but I am sure you will be fine as they sometimes spoke english with my kids.
The hotel is located on the hill with a majestic scots pine forest behinds. The 'Zlatibor' name is actually derived from the 'golden pine' and the tree dominates the landscape around. The city center is a short downhill walk away through the forest behind the hotel. Don't miss the market.
We have visited with two kids 6 and 8. Really liked the fact that this is fairly small and quiet hotel, so we could just relax and rest when back in the room. The rooms are not too big nor luxurious, but everything works as expected and they are clean. We had breakfast and dinner and the food is fairly authentic to the local area. Which means get ready to get you daily dose of sodium and fat in one meal. That's fine when you hike a lot, just make sure you drink enough water. The staff is super friendly and will try to accomodate every wish you may have. Feel free to chat and use their knowledge when planning your walks and trips. They will also be happy to tell you more about local life and traditions.
Zlatibor city itself is very touristy oriented which has both positive and negative sides. Kids could have a short horse rides, ride go carts and all kinds of other stuff. We preferred to spend time in the surrounding area. Mecavnik, Sargan 8, Stopica cave, Gostilje waterfall, Sirogojno etno village are some of the must places to see. The nature and (not too many) people live in a nice harmony here, so I hope you will enjoy your stay as we did.
On a final note the driving around is a pure joy if you are a car enthusiast. Just take side roads and enjoy carving the curves while enjoying the surroundings. If you take really small roads beware of the potholes and boulders (you might be lucky to get "Daddy is a good dodger" certificate). In short, driving around has its rewards and risks.

...for the traveler in need of a comfortable and quiet place in pleasant surroundings during a stopover
... for the elderly couple who love a cosy room and a decent meal after a long walk or hike in the gorgeous mountain countryside
... for the fans of snow and winter activities who will find their need being tended to only a step away
for the families that may use the hotel as a starting point for year-round activities..
The hotel offers spacious en suite rooms and all the comfort that both travelers and holiday makers expect. The buffet breakfast is ok and the dinner menu offers good regional cuisine.
