The ticket cost itself was Rs 1500, and no sooner we started our tour, we were told that the temple doors will be closed for the next couple of hours for worship.
I would have expected either the money to be returned or even better, this could be told at the entrance as we bought the tickets that the doors will be closed for an hour or two. Also, it is expected that footwares to be removed and there are men at the entrance advising visitors to leave footware at designated sites, my advised is that visitors should carry a backpack, where footwares could be stored and carried in person. This will cut unwanted cost. There are many trying to make some easy money and tourist and foreigners should be aware of it.
