Stayed for 2 nights. very friendly efficient and professional staff. room was lovely and spacious, with complementary basket of fruit - exceptionally clean and beautifull view. this is more like an English 4 star hotel with all the mod cons. the food we had was nice, but the same offered each day - the selection at breakfast wasn't as good as the other hotels we stayed in. We happened to be there on a festival day and they wouldn't serve any alcohol apart from in the room - so couldn't have a glass of wine with dinner, which isn't the end of the world but a bit irritating when you are on holiday. there was no evening entertainment, nor was the bar open when we were there - so it was a bit dead, with just people using the lobby for internet - no atmosphere at all , and too far to walk to town. We didn't mind too much as we were on a tour and had to up early, but its a shame .no atmosphere in the restaurant either, and although service is good, we found the staff too attentive - they were hovering which made me feel quite uncomfortable
