“It is all right....”

Ideally located, the hotel is situated near city center, perfect as a base for your trips to Kandy, for families and young travellers coming to explore the beauties of the city. But need to travel with tuk-tuk because it is on the hill...

The room (small) and towels were very clean. Staff rather welcoming. Free internet. Spending $65/night with breakfast and dinner.. But the food (buffet especially dinner was pretty bad). Plus, my first room was located below the restaurant and noisy when the restaurant is busy mostly in the morning as early as 6am. But I got my room changed the next day.

For short term trips or early transfers this is a great option!

Room Tip: avoid room 518 - 520

Friendly staff. Check-in was easy. Special appreciation to Miracle Tours, Mr. Ashad for suggesting this hotel. Restaurant tables are reserved. since we arrived late in the evening, table was offered near the music team. very loud hence could not enjoy dinner. Bell boy advised against opening the balcony door at night due to mosquitoes and during the day due to monkeys Overall anexperience

The staff were very friendly and helpful. There was a small problem with the bathroom when we checked in and the staff quickly confirmed this and moved us to an alternative room. The replacement room was bigger and more comfortable but did suffer from proximity to the dining room which made it somewhat noisy, particularly in the early morning (breakfast buffet was being laid out from 6am). Because we were travelling a lot we had some laundry done at the hotel which was fast, reasonable and returned clean and ironed. The hotel has a good view over the city and is only a short ride from the centre. Like much of Kandy it is quite a climb so it is best to take a tuk tuk. The food was fairly typical Sri Lankan buffet fare and of average quality. Overall, a modern, comfortable hotel and value for money.

Hotel felt safe and clean, but small room with cramped bathroom and disapointing pool (cold and nowhere to sit/relax around pool) - buffet standard fare and not up to Sri Lanka standards. As a one night stopver it's ok, but felt over-priced compared to other hotels we stayed in

We spent our first night in Sri Lanka here. The hotel was fine, the room was fairly large and we liked having a balcony overlooking the pool. Sadly we didn't have any monkey visitors on our balcony unlike some other reviewers! The service was good, but the food was the usual buffet basic fare - nothing too exciting.

This was overall a decent hotel for the start of our trip and would recommend it as a base for a couple of nights in Kandy.

Clean room, decent size (not very big), clean bathrooms. Great view. Quite. Decent to good food.

Tip: If you book through a guide / travel agency, you cannot pay the hotel with credit card but required to pay to the guide in cash.

Tip: Many hotels in Sri Lanka have different tear prices depends on your country of origin (or the passport you carry). North Americans and Western Europeans usually pay higher price.
