We stayed at Mangrove Garden Beach Cabanas for 2 nights. It's located in the middle of nowhere and feels like an untouched piece of paradise. Nobody on the beach, literally! We took the free kayak's available to hotel guests for a paddle in the lagoon and saw monkeys, birds, and even an iguana swimming across the lagoon. We ate at both of the restaurants but prefered the amazing ambiance at the one located on the lagoon! Gorgeous!! The hotel/restaurant staff were extremeley helpful and orgnaized a last minute tour of Yala national park for us in a matter of minutes. The private chauffered drive to Yala was less than 2 hours, we then had a private jeep all to ourselves, entry to the park, and then back again for 60$ per person. Leaving at 5am and back by 1pm, it was perfect. This hotel is paradise for those looking to 'get away from it all' and yet still do an oustanding day trip to Yala!
