Was given a room on B1 and the owner told us that we can just catch the sunrise from the area right in front of our room. It is the highest min su located at CingJing. Do ask the owner for an estimated time for sunrise the next morning. They are vv accurate.

The down side of the place is that the only heated 'area' of the room is the blanket. So its super duper cold. It was raining the whole day and temperature dipped to below 10 deg, even though we are there in early April.

My suggestion is to bring sufficient warm clothes and buy some snacks and drinks up. The nearest convenience store is a short drive away and not accessible on foot.

The physical environment is not unique given it is the same in most homestay at that altitude.
Most disappointing is that dinner is the same for both days of our stay.
When we are there, our room are no already. Instead, we are given the smaller room next to it.

I went there on the 11 of Dec 13 and the place is 1 of the highest minsu in cingjing at 2135m . Temperature was quiet cold with night temperature around 6-9℃ while in the day was warmer around 12℃ in the morning to about 16℃ in the afternoon. Room was OK with 3 queen size bed with 1 toilet. Toilet was about medium size with a tap for bathing however there is no wall to have privacy and also when u bath water would also splash everywhere thus people would fall down easily. Toilet bow choke easily and I had to approach counter for help. Dinner was nice with steamboat. Bed was nice and comfortable but bed can get quite warm sometimes. Morning around 4am we went up to He Huan shan to see sunrise.Journey was about 45 min and cost NT 400 each person. Some of us became very giddy during the journey too. We manage to saw ice but did not manage to take nice photo of sunrise due to thick fog and cold weather around 2℃ and was raining heavily too. Would advise u to bring a thick jacket and layers if u are planning to go during winter. There could also be snow too during winter at he huan shan so pls remember bring thick jacket. Would advise seniors citizens or people 60 years and above not to visit as it is located at 3456m and could experience breathing difficulties plus cold weather too. Came down at around 7 am and went to sleep. Didn't realize breakfast had been served and went there at 9am only to realize breakfast had finished. Remember to go there by 9am to have breakfast. Overall pleasant stay and would not mind going back again. Would highly recommend u to stay a night there!

Initially, we were considering Starry 观星园or Misty Villa云蒙仙境.At last, we chose Starry because it was said to be the highest "min shu" in Qing Jing, and we could enjoy good view of the town. It did not disappoint us when we arrived at dinner time. Night view is good, air is fresh.
7 of us were given a room with 7 beds, because there was no more room. The good part, we can chat whole night. The bad part, only 1 bathroom and toilet. Bed is comfortable, no fan, have to open the back door for better air circulation. The room is just next to the platform where people hang around at night for night view, could be a little noisy when some of the tenants were not considerate enough.
Hotpot dinner surprised us with really good mushrooms and vege, taiwan very own tasty unlimited refill rice, plate of pork.
Breakfast is light, toast bread with vege. We were alright with that because the price itself is considered cheap. We never expect much other than the good view.
Don't miss the sunrise, about 6.30am. Not the grand one, but worth to have a look.

This minsu is located at the highest point in Cingjing. Therefore, you have a great view (day and night) of Cingjing town. Room rate includes dinner on arrival day and breakfast the next day. We arrived just in time for the dinner. It was a hotpot dinner. Feel so homey especially when the weather is cold and you have hotpot for dinner! The room does not have a fan. If the air is stagnant, the room can get a little stuffy unless you open the door. At the same time, you will attract flying insects and mozzies when the door is opened. Above our room was the dining hall. Thus, it can get a little noisy when people drag the chair and the sound of walking footsteps. There is an observation patio too where you can take plenty of scenery photographs of Cingjing town. The owner also offer drop off service at the Green Green Grassland on complimentary. Please arrange in advance with the owner.

Room Tip: We had room B3 that is below the dining hall.

Stayed with a group of friends and we really love the place! It's the second stay for us as we had been here 3 yrs ago. Steamboat is nice, no stars this time round due to the fog.... We took shared cabs up (contact from boss), thus need to change bus. The cab driver is a very funny chap. Overall, we have no qualms coming here again.
