We didn't stay after arriving here ! The photos on the website, we thought were rather misleading. It seems a while since the cabins were painted bright yellow. We arrived with an American visitor who took one look at it and described it as a ghetto! He was well travelled and normally paid around $50 a night.
We followed a rubbish truck down a dirt track at the end of town. The area was scruffy and there was plenty of rubbish in the water.
The view across the water was, as you would expect, pretty. However, the view to the sides and rear of the cabins was not !
We moved into town and paid a lot less money. It was not noisy , as we were told it would be.
We also are well travelled and have been all over the world, including 3rd world countries and lived amongst the locals, eg in Africa and India, so we definitely don't want all inclusive hotels !!!
Very disappointing.

This guy showed up and in the first 5 mins left after seeing local people. We specifically tell people on our website that we are located in a local community. Ghetto??? Our community is home to Americans, Europeans, and panamanians. We have no crime and as you can see from our reviews 99.9% of our guests love the community we have called home for 5 years. READ our website unlike this guy before you book and if you are racist please do not book with us.

This place was perfect for us! We arrived 2 days late for our reservation due to road blocks but Jack and Lee, our gracious hosts kept our Dolphin Cabin for us. Jack was in regular contact with us and even tried to send a ride to help rescue us out of Boquete. We stayed for 4 nights and would not hesitate to return.

The cabin itself was clean, well equipped and right on the water, reminded me of staying on a boat.
We enjoyed every minute just hanging out on our front deck, or lazing in the hammock.

Jack made us a different, delicious breakfast each morning. For lunch, we generally would walk into town, 15 minutes away have a bite, get some groceries and return by cab on the way back. We used our cabin kitchen for our dinners.

As for the surroundings, it was very quiet and we had no problems sleeping. There is a little garbage in the neighbourhood, however we have seen much worse in other areas of Central America. Jack's properties are very clean.

Again our hosts Jack and Lee are very welcoming and extremely attentive to their guests needs. They really help in making sure you enjoy your stay in Bocas.

Room Tip: Loved Dolphin Cabin, sleeps 2 very comfortably.

We spent a lovely two nights at Koko while on honeymoon; swimming in the crystal clear water and enjoying the delicious breakfasts. The houses are lovely and really well equipped. We ended up staying in two different houses because we changed the dates of our booking at the last minute (the owners were so kind and accommodating on this) - we were a little unsure as to the difference between the two: they were both in the middle, both similarly equipped, but one cost $10 more. Otherwise, our stay was near-perfect and we would happily recommend Koko to anyone thinking of visiting Bocas.

If you are looking for a great B&B near Bocas town that still feels isolated and tranquil - this is the spot!

Jack and his wife Lee are the best hosts you could ask for. They are extremely helpful with arranging excursions. They helped us book every single activity we did while we were there for 5 nights. They would just ask us what we wanted to do the next day, make some suggestions, and then have a boat waiting for us the next morning to take us off to explore the gorgeous islands surrounding Bocas.

Be sure and read the "Must Read FAQ" on their website and if you qualify I would highly recommend staying here!!

A lovely place to stay. It was like living on a boat. Very clean and comfortable. Delicious breakfast while being entertained by our host. Certainly recommend this facility.
