Loved Bocas. One paved road through main town. Coconuts so plentiful they burn them like leaves. Banana trees. Little poison frogs. Snorkling tours $8 a day. Hotel with own Balcony and kitchen and satellite tv $40 a night sleeps 4. Food anywhere from rack of ribs for $10 in the hotels to $1.50 plate a spahgetti witha beer. Beer 50 cents to a dollar. When it rains it's still 90 degrees so go swimming. Was there fo e the centennial. Parades all weekend well into the night. You can rent a bed for $5 a night. Jungle tours. Native tours. Snorkling tours. Horseback riding. Bicycle rentals. Lots of hotels and lots of restaurants to choose from. I stayed at Hotel Angela. Snorkeled off deck and got in wrestling match w a good sized lobster. Couldn't pull him out from the coral before losing my breath.
