“Great place in BDT”

A superb place where to stay in Bocas del Toro. Friendly staff, cosy rooms (the premium luxury room offers a priceless view during sunrise). Fair price/value. Tours offered at the reception are worthwile. Having breakfast in the terrace will make you to start the day with a brise of energy. Indeed, I will come back again.

Picked this place because of the reviews on tripadvisor and certainly wasn't disappointed. The location is perfect if you want to be in the centre of town and the owner and the staff are really friendly and helpful. The rooms at the back come with balconies and have great views over the water. It's perfect if you want to do diving as well since the best local shop is just two doors down.

Decided on this waterfront boutique hotel as a side trip to a business junket in Panama City. The room prices game the financial leeway when booking the hotel as it included breakfast. I´ve always stayed at small or boutique hotels that are centrally located, enabling me to meet a client right in the hotels private restaurant. Since i was curious about real estate, this hotel suited my meetings. I always consider factors like location and caliber of hotel when conducting meetings as a benefit. During this trip to Panama I am deciding the ciriuculum for our 2012 conference and we are bidding to host and event at this hotel and the one we stayed at in Panama City. With 11 rooms, restaurant, bar and a high level of customer service, this will be the prefect venue for team building activities. Hope to be back!

I think when we read 'waterside", we imagined something more like 'beachfront'... but that isn't the way this little town is laid out. You have to remember that this used to be the "company town" for the banana industry. This hotel sits right on water overlooking the bay where most of the traffic between the mainland and the other smaller islands travels.

We got a good deal on the room and we were very pleased with how accommodating and hospitable the staff was. The decor really reminds you of a sailing ship. Whenever I am on a nice ship, I marvel at how you can jam a lot of luxury into a small space and how you can look at what seems to be a very small bar or restaurant and once you have settled in, you feel like you have more room than you need.

That's a pretty tortured way of saying that it is a comfortable and cozy hotel.

The food was really nice and the service was attentive and laid back at the same time. We were trying to stay in touch with our office while we were traveling and would often set up shop in the dining room overlooking the bay. We'd be using the wireless to send emails and chat on Skype while the waitresses kept stopping by to make sure our coffee was full and hot.

In the evenings, we got the nights off right with a couple of drinks at the bar. There are bar stools that are lined up out in the street, so you kind of feel like there is a slight street party element, but you can also sit inside the lobby and gaze out onto the boulevard. With great happy hour specials, we really enjoyed our time at the bar.

This hotel is also centrally located. The ferry drops you off about 2 blocks from the hotel and there are shops, restaurants and other tourist services mere steps from the hotel's front door.

Room Tip: Ask for a room in front or in back. Rooms on the sides are smaller.

Good breakfast. Great location. Very comfortable and clean rooms. Felt safe. Staff extremely friendly. Nice to swim off of the dock. Wonderful happy hour. They even accommodated a late check out, which was excellent.

This is a very clean and comfortable place to stay in bocas del toro. The staff was very helpful. At first we were paying the advertised fee per night. We checked out other comparable hotels in the are, and they we much cheaper. So we decided to switch hotels. To allow us to stay with them, the front desk came down in their price A LOT! We were happy about this because the room was very clean and nice, and it faced the water. There are kayaks available for a small fee. There is breakfast in the morning which is included and consists of toast, eggs, meat or cheese, coffee and juice. Nothing extravagant, but good to get you going for the day. The hotel is located in the center of town and it is easy to get boat taxies for day trips as well as to catch a bus to the beach on the other side of the island. All beaches are accessed by bus or boat. The boat trips to other surrounding beaches/islands are bout $5 each way and pleasant. I really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. All of the ladies at the hotel were lovely and so helpful!

They just take care of all your needs no matter what! I loved the quality of the decor and atmosphere. The staff is very professional. The room was made small because of the extra bed. Other than that it was a perfect stay.
