We've stayed here in the past, but currently the hotel is not as good as it used to be. The rooms are not as clean, the bathroom was dirty. The room air conditioner didn't work all the time, there was no flow of air the room was stale.
The owners of this Days Inn was very friendly and allowed several people who were stuck because of the ice/snow storm on Jan 28th to stay in the hotel lobby and was able to furnish 6 rollaway beds to everyone to be frustrated with the weather it was a very pleasant stay and on the 29th because a cpl of people checked out was able to get a room which was very clean. I would recommend anyone to stay if traveling on hwy 280 through Childersburg,Al.
The manager took care of me during the ice storm. No room available when I arrived but the lobby was good and warm and he brought out cots, and the next morning for breakfast we could help ourselves even though we were not paying customers at that time. Made sure that the first available room was for me. Will visit again.
Stayed here during the snow storm that hit Alabama. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Worth the price. Has continental breakfast. Right on the highway. Its nothing fancy but if you want a reasonable priced room that is clean, this is your place.
We stayed at this hotel on our way home from our Florida trip among many other hotels on our way and this room was the absolute cleanest of all that we had stayed in on our trip. We met Mary at the front desk and I had mentioned how clean it was and she replied that she did some of the cleaning, she was very polite and seemed to really like her job and was very glad to hear we were happy with our room. If we ever get that way again we would certainly stay at this Days Inn again. Right next to the waffle house which is open 24 hours so you can walk right next door for a pretty good meal.
