this was the best choice of mine when on a business trip i was there in september 2012 in delhi.A very good thing was that with the reasonable tarriff it was within a reasonable reach from the airport arround 35 minute drive and free from noice of the city. The hospitality tandard of the hotel was very good and staff was very softspoken and cooperative. The room space and presence of room ws very good.Room ervice was appreciable and toilets and airconditioning was so good.Car service was available at footstep.

We chose this hotel based on all the tripadvisor positive reviews, and overall it was a good choice. Placed in a quiet area, which is highly appreciated in order to get a good rest in such a busy city after a long day visiting the city. The hotel itself is modern and well equipped, very clean and with a helpful and kind staff. High internet provided and good breakfast. Would go back again with no hesitation.

I really appreciated this hotel. I arrived at 3:30am and they let me into my room (therefore I stayed in the room for well over 24 hours). The service was good as was the food. I also enjoyed the rooftop sitting area...it was a great place to hang out and read. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at this hotel as a 1 night stopover following reading Tripadvisor reviews. We had previosly stayed in a 5 star hotel in Delhi and wisshed to try something smaller. Tjis was an excellent choice, only 30 minutes from the airport. The hotel was clean, well appointed & had excellent staff. Breakfast was very good, with table service rather than buffet. Location may not be all that great for sightseeing in Delhi, but we would certainly recommend it.

Stayed at Amber, Delhi for two nights in Oct 2012. It was a bit out of the way...on the plus side it was very quiet...on the negative, we didn't feel comfortable walking the neighborhood. Overall, it was a good place to stay, and lightyears ahead of the couple other places I've stayed in India. The Amber was spotless, our room (#204) was small but perfectly adequate and very clean, the staff was as pleasant and positive as can be, the restaurant was small and the food was very good. The worst thing about it was the lack of water temperature control in the shower, but that's not a deal breaker. The Amber is nothing like a big 5-star hotel, but when compared to other India hotels, I'm comfortable rating the Amber a good 4 stars...meaning above average...and yes, I'd stay there again.

I travel a lot for business as an Export Manager so get to stay in a lot of faceless, chain style hotels so always jump at the chance of something different. The Amber in Delhi is exactly that. Good sized rooms, large walk in drench showers, friendly staff and a quaint roof terrace are all very welcoming after a days hard business and this hotel does not fail to dissappoint. Situated in the Escort Hospital district it is nice and quiet at night with no traffic or horn noise and a great Indian food chef on site. Kamal and the rest of the waiter team do a great personnal job of looking after the guests and it's really nice to feel part of their family. What a splendid change from the faceless chain hotels. This is my second stay and just as good as the first with the same old faces. Love the included Wifi as well.

Room Tip: Go for the rooms facing the road. Bigger windows but no problem with traffic as nothing goes on the...

HI!

This is one of the great hotels in Delhi, and service provided here by staff is excellent and appreciable. I specially thank front office team in the hotel. The hotel property is wonderful. The moment you reach hotel, you will feel a homely touch due to hospitality, cleanliness, courteous and ever smiling staffs. They were so helpful and they took us to our room and explained everything very clearly and is very attentive to our request always. I felt very good about them. Wi-fi is complimentary here and so fast also. The staff here addresses guest by name. I appreciate their memory power. I had stayed in a standard room, which offers all the amenities that you would expect at a 5 star hotel. The bathroom was clean and nice - the room has good space. Amenities here at the room are good. They offer very good breakfast, really fresh stuff. I found the food excellent. It was an amazing stay in India! We were so reluctant to leave the hotel and India …. Trip and stay was so good and enjoyable.
