“Ok food, terrible service”
Reviewed 2 June 2014

Urban Pind, now called Urban Knights. Firstly, I found the place racist. How you ask? Well, they advertise that they have a 'firang lady' night. The poster goes - "Are you a firang lady? Then you have free drinks." or something like that. Racist AND sexist - can't beat that!!

We were a few friends from work, out to celebrate the birthday of one of us. So we needed cake, which they had - exorbitantly priced ofcourse.

Food was not too bad, but nothing that made us fans of the place. That could have happened had the service been better. It was a slow night, with very few customers. Infact, there were more staff than customers, so service should have been topnotch right? Wrong - everyone seemed to be interested more in the IPL match going on then the poor souls who chose to visit the place. Even the DJ was too busy to change the genre of songs being played. Never taking anyone I like there!!

“Good place to chill out in GK”
Reviewed 30 July 2013

Went here on my second business trip to New Delhi. Went here on a Friday with some work folks, after a loong work week. I'm not much of a bar person, but enjoyed this place.

Food was great. Has a good selection of Italian as well as Indian food. They have an interesting selection at the bar as well. Served Indian red wine, which was quite nice.

Music was fine. Started with ''oldies-like'' music (like Elvis) in the early evening and then transitioned smoothly into more 'club-like' beats. The huge sofas were cozy and added that vintage character to the bar. A good place to hang out if you're in the area.

“Mostly skip it”
Reviewed 12 May 2013

Sure, there's a dearth of places which play good music nowadays but Urban Pind is now just too overcrowded and too loud. The food used to be good at one point of time and the terrace used to be nice but now it's all just too congested!

“Cool Hang-out place”
Reviewed 4 May 2013

This is a nice to place to hang-out. It has different themes nightly like , Tuesdays- Salsa Nights, Thursdays- Expats Night , Fridays- Models Nights, etc...

I often come on Thursdays during expats nights. This review will cover on Thursday night visits.

The place is near the Moolchand metro station; just around 1 km.

Thursday night is Expat nights. Expats are treated with unlimited drinks for only INR1000 from 9PM to 11:30PM. Dont forget to get tha band at the entrance. If you look like/resemble a local, please be prepared to bring an ID to prove your an expat. They will give you a "chop/stamp" with different color. Each chop color has different meaning. Red chop allows you to enter the rooftop.

Each floor has different music genre.

The rooftop is the best place meet fellow expats. The place is so casual. People wear shorts, slippers, etc.

The club/resto serves different cuisine. Food is not bad but this is the forte of this place!

The club/restos slows down at 12:30am and closes at 1am due to license issue.

Tip: wear a smile as the in-house photographer clicks often for the club's site/fb page. Sometimes it's even published in a daily newspaper.
