Description: A friendly, casual diner, by people who love food, for people who love food, Smokeys BBQ and Grill is an exciting new entrant into Delhi foodie-sphere. Inspired by the ubiquitous BBQ joints that dot the Mid-West, Smokey's reflects the spirit of a quintessential barbeque restaurant - 2 floors of wood and brick, but with pops of color and artwork to give it a contemporary feel. The food follows in the same vein. As the name suggests, there's freshly barbecued meats, straight off the grill and the firewood oven right onto your plate, wood-fired pizzas and enormous, heavenly burgers and sliders and hot-dogs. Drinks aren't a mere after-thought either. Smoked cocktails (made by smoking fresh fruit), aged cocktails (using liquor aged with spices) and molecular cocktails are all part of the thrilling drinks menu. And that's before we get to the wine list, which features more than 60 wines (with plenty of New and Old World options, and almost every varietal you could hope for), all extremely competitively priced. A separate shot bar (there are three bars in all), an elevated performance space for Live bands, an In-house DJ through the week, stand-up comedy and Karaoke. Run by Shiv Karan Singh, whose contribution to the culinary scene includes previously co-owning Smoke House Deli, Smoke House Grill and being a director of the Mocha chains, and his vibrant young team, this new restaurant comes with impressive credentials. "Smokey's is more than a restaurant; it's an activity space where people can engage and have a great time without pinching the pockets", Singh said about his newest venture, and one visit is enough for you to know exactly what he means.

I'm a foodies but I prefer to leave the restaurant with my throat intact. Unfortunately the prices don't match the product they deliver. So it is not a place I would return to.

Good place with a good environment to spend some quality time with friends preferably week days as not crowded with a good selection on the food menu & the rest.
Would surely like to visit again.....

Had heard a lot about this place. It was a complete let down. Given the high prices we were surprised by the low quality linen and cutlery. Almost 80% of the items on the menu were not available !! we finally asked the server as to what was available and ordered from the limited choice we had. However whatever we did order was pretty good. I hope they work hard to improve their service .

visited the restaurant on my last visit to Delhi and had a strictly average meal.
the space is quite edgy and chic, as was the crowd (the hip mixed in with the nouveau).
the food was, well , to put it mildly, pretentious with the chef clearly over-reaching and in the process, falling flat on his face. the dishes have clearly been plagiarized from a melange of high end restaurants over the world(some of which i have eaten in), hence coming off as cheap imitations of the real thing.
had overcooked trout, duck with limp skin and a too sweet raspberry sauce and a hazelnut cake which was palatable..
drink menu is varied but way over-priced.
service was snooty and aloof.
overall, a forgettable experience.

Arguably one of the best places in New Delhi for a good juicy steak, the John Dorey on risotto was also quite remarkable.

The dessert tray, with the compliments of the chef, was quite extraordinary too.

Above all, the friendly and courteous staff, and the clean classy decor, make dining here a very pleasant experience. Pricey, but well worth every penny!
