“Value for Monay”
Reviewed 9 May 2011

The location is pretty close to a metro station and thus makes it very convenient to travel to various places in and around the city
The place is in a crowded location, but once you are inside the hotel, it is clean and quite.
The only think I can complaint about is the speed of service. It takes almost 30 minutes for anything you order from the room service.

Overall I would say, it is value for money!!!

We did phone booking without advance payment, while landing into hotel, staff asked only booking no. and did not ask for any deposit even after repeated asking about money, and last settlement made a huge discount on room rent, where as room service was as same as multy stargrade hotels, I would always prefer to stay in same hotel when ever I visit to delhi, and also I would like to recoment my other friends the hotel is in prime location, easy to go arround delhi.

hotel delhi city centre: avoid this place
- One night, Saturday 16 April 2011; I ended up room on first floor opposite top of stairs, my first name is Christopher.
- Paid £24.54 GBP on internet, plus was hit with £6.80 GBP (475 rupee) of extra charges for internet and breakfast.
1) first room I was given had a window that would not close: mosquitoes and noise
2) second room I was given had a broken air conditioning unit
3) third room I was given had air conditioning unit that was so noisy that it cannot be switched on at night (it is very hot)
- third room I was given had urine on toilet seat (!) and no toilet paper (!)
- street outside was very noisy, could hear that in the room
- the wi-fi internet was exceptionally poor: had to pay 200 rupees extra, needed a Tata Indicom Wi-Fi access card, needed FIVE screens of passwords to be completed before access is granted. Instead, complementary wi-fi should be provided which only needs ONE password to be entered after clicking on the SSID name (in other many countries' hotels, this is standard practice). It also disconnected (an error?) after around 25 minutes use at around 12.30 PM, so at that point I went to sleep.
- breakfast should be made complimentary, instead a high 275 rupee, inc tax, extra charge
- at night, the instructions given by Hotel Delhi City Centre reception desk on how to reach sister hotel were incomplete and casually given (despite lobby being empty), leading to me being unable to find the sister hotel for dinner

Room Tip: Best avoided

hotel delhi city centre is a 3 star ridges like hotel in london.its got the amenities for the price and is known for its service and I saw vacationers from all over europe make this a really popular place. They have a extremely large lobby makes it feel spacious and the staff at the reception are very warm. Its surely a deal for the price

This hotel was difficult to book, is in an extremely dirty location, hasconstruction directly behind it which is so loud you have to shout in your room, has no good food, staff that will charge you even if they ruin your laundry, will put unsuspecting guests in a store room with no windows and still charge them full price, one room had bed bugs....the list goes on. Quite possibly the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Although our company uses this hotel for business travel, I happened to come here for the first time enroute to Mohali for the historic India - Pakistan world cup cricket semi-finals. The hotel was full and buzzing throughout with large screens amidst the cricket craze in the city.

The hotel proved to be comfy with good rooms & room service and a great location near everything.

Dear Guest,

We are a good budget hotel, but many our rooms are really special .Most designs are inspired by our colonial past and have Spanish quilt sand extra thick mattresses.

Thank you for your appreciation.

We look forward to your next visit.
