Hotel is more than correct, rooms are clean , (even though they forgot to clean my room we came back from our delhi visit); good bed, confortable, good tv, restaurant is ok on the roof
You can have breakfast in bed, :) and what is really great is that you can have breakfast in bed anytime!!
We woke up very late around 1 pm and there was no problem to have breakfast!
Hotel is a bit difficult to find , a bit hidden for rickshaw because it s in a small parallel street to the big arakashan road
Staff is ok, open minded :)
Only negative: when we came back at the end of the day they hadn t cleaned the room.. they said that may be we hadn t left the key, but we did let the key to them to clean it..
Also: shower was broken, so water flow was very week: but they lend me another room key to take the shower in another room, so ok ; i recommand this hotel, you will feel safe there (as it s in all guide books they are a lot of tourists, and a lot of my fellow french people..:)

Room Tip: the room on last floor was good, just close to the roof top restaurant

For £8 a night I couldn't ask for more. Clean, spacious rooms with a comfortable bed and en suite (mine lucky enough to have wifi). Air con in the rooms and food is great. Valuables are safe and rooms have a bolt on them. Short walk from Connaught Place.

We didn't plan ahead for a hotel in Delhi and was so glad we found this place. From the time I called to ask for availability and directions they were very professional which is a rare commodity in India sometimes. Our room was spacious, clean and a great value. I had an issue with some teens outside of the hotel and the manager immediately looked through the security cameras and took care of it. They really put security of their guests as a priority which made us feel very comfortable... Especially in a crazy place like Delhi. Staff is very attentive and takes care of things right away. There was a great Tandoori restaurant (Flavours) that had amazing food nearby! The owner is super nice and always checks on guests and his managers definitely run a tight ship. Planning on coming back again next time I'm in Delhi! :)

My friend and I booked Hotel Amax as our first hotel of the journey. Boy, were we glad we booked here. after being scammed in delhi on our first day. Anil from amax helped us leave our aranged tour and claim all of our money back with the cooperation of the delhi police. After this We stayed for about a week in amax after receiving our money back. the food is great, (I recomend the stuffed paranthas) the location, also excelent. And the staff are some of the most polite and friendly hotel assistants i've met, they will make you feel at home. I highly recommend amax to any travelers to Delhi. I look forward to my next stay there.

With clean rooms but no natural light this good budget option is situated in the heart of Paharganj near the main bazaar. The staff at the reception is very helpful and offers airport pick up´s and drops for 400 Rupees.

If you don´t mind the round the clock action outside of the hotel, it´s worth to check this place. It´s a good starting point if you arriving in India.

I stayed here for a few days at the start of my trip and have just booked a few days for the end of my trip. It's a safe, clean, friendly place for solo women travelers. They have a variety of rooms and all at a good value. The staff are very helpful and kind, I felt so comfortable here. It's an easy walk from the ND train station. The beds were comfy and it was quiet. The only downside is only having wifi in the lobby, but that was minor!

We decided to stay in this hotel after reading The Lonely Planet. We stayed in March for 2 nights. It was our first destination in India and the hotel arranged pickup from the airport, making things much easier for us.

Our room was basic but clean and tidy. The rooftop restaurant has simple but tasty food and is a great place to meet other travellers. You can only get WiFi in the lobby downstairs but we loved this as it provides a great chance to meet other people and chillout.

Mr Manish helped to arrange a tour based on what we wanted to see in North India. This tour was fantastic and a safe alternative to organising everything ourselves. The driver we had took us to excellent budget hotels we would not have otherwise found. One thing to consider is that if you do book a tour with a driver, remember to factor a tip for the driver into your budget. It will be about 20% of what you pay for the actual tour.

Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel to other travellers.

Room Tip: Make sure you don't get the room next to the generator. It is very loud.
