We stayed here for 2 nights as a family it was well worth the money. The hotel is luxurious with great service, amazing flowers. The rooms are spacious with great beds and feather pillows,we had our best night sleep here in our 2 week holiday. The outside drinking area near the bar was really cool,we ate in the Indian restaurant the food was excellent pricey for India but you expect that in a 5* hotel.Only hiccup was they forgot our Breakfast to to take with us on our Train to Agra.

I have been at The Leela Palace in New Delhi last summer.
A part the environment and the luxury that could easy be compared to one of the other wonderful Indian Hotels the service is really making the difference here!
There a mayor dome just for your room and everybody is absolutely at your service making you feeling a real King!

We stayed here for 2 nights and have to say that the Leela Palace is what you would expect from a 5 star hotel. The hotel was luxuriously decorated and the staff was helpful and attentive. There was a good choice for breakfast and the service was good.

Its a very nice hotel and we did not have any complains but there seems to be something missing.. It seems to be missing the personal touch. We just felt like "just another guest".

We had 2 adjoing rooms for our large family (2 adults, 3 children and lots of baggage) for 2 days of rest and sight seeing in Delhi. The hotel is one of the nicest I have stayed in and consistent with the other hotels in the Leela chain (I have stayed in Leela Bengaluru, on business travel previously). I travel extensively for work, and stay in fine hotel chains around the world (Mandarin Oriental, The Peninsula, Ritz Carlton, etc), and therefore when I give a rating of excellent, it is in the context of my experience with other similar brands.

The staff took exceptional care of us, arranging guided tours by car for two days, tracking down a DVD for my kids to watch. The concierge staff arranged our hotel to airport transfers seamlessly, bringing in a larger vehicle to accomodate our luggage.

The Leela staff at Delhi Airport helped with luggage, check in, filling out forms for customs, routing us to the right lines (which in Delhi airport is a very confusing process). One outstanding Leela staff member at Delhi Domestic airport, actually spoke with Air India staff to get our seating re-arranged on our flight to Kochi so that the family could sit together!

The hotel decor is very impressive. The cleaniless of the rooms and common areas is impeccable. The staff give the property the white glove effort. The rooms were well maintained and always well stocked with amenities and bottled water. Room service was prompt. We dined at the Qube for all our meals and the selection and choice is very good. Highly recommend this hotel for luxury travellers.

Room Tip: Garden room views are more serene. Noise is not an issue with any room.

We had the good fortune to stay at the Leela palace for a few days over Christmas. We had two rooms. One for my partner and I which was a club room on the 8th floor and one for my adult daughter on the 7th floor. Both rooms were very nicely fitted out with generous sized and luxurious bathrooms. My daughter particularly liked being able to watch TV in the bath!

The lobby and the grounds are just beautiful and I must say I would be very hard pressed to remember stayed in a hotel with such abundant and gorgeous flower displays virtually everywhere. We were told they have an in house florist and when the flowers start to get a bit limp they take the petals off and placed them on the water feature in the garden - a lovely touch!

The included breakfasts were fantastic with a tremendous selection of buffet and on demand meals. We had breakfast in the club, 'The Cube' and 'Jamavar'. They were all great and it was great to have the variety.

We spent quite a bit of time at night in the bar whilst debriefing our day trips and it was fantastic. The outside area looks brilliant but unfortunately for us it wasn't the right time of year and was perpetually covered in fog. That said the inside bar was intimate, well appointed and the range of great food available was as good as most restaurants.

The staff were fantastic, from arriving at the airport until leaving. It was first class, extremely helpful without the slightest hint of obsequence (which we had come to expect elsewhere in India).
Indeed the service was an absolute highlight.

Like the outside bar, the weather precluded using the rooftop infinity pool, which looked amazing. We much preferred this to the Club bar which was to quite for our liking.

Overall a fantastic place to stay and take refuge from the madness that is Delhi.

Its pricey by Indian standards, but more than reasonable for such a luxurious hotel in Western standards. I have no hesitation in giving it my unreserved endorsement without qualification.

I express my humble gratitude for your time and detailed review of your stay at The Leela Palace New Delhi. Your kind endorsement of the hotel means a lot to us. We are happy to read that the many unique features in our hotel including our little details from floral arrangements across the hotel to the personalized services met with your expectations.

We hope to welcome you soon and at a time when you can enjoy New Delhi’s most well appointed alfresco seating areas at The Qube, The Library, MEGU and Le Cirque and can also spend some leisure time at the only temperature-controlled rooftop swimming pool overlooking the city.

We flew in to New Delhi to start the greatest trip we have ever taken, this place really eased us in to the pace of India. Its a 5 start plus property, the service was great although they missed every car booking while on property they did get us back and forth to the airports on time. For the mistakes they did give us a car upgrade. The roof top pool has amazing views of the city and is worth stoping by for a drink and splash. I would stay here again, but they do need to clean up the service front to make sure it matches the property. None of them were a big deal but if you are emailing back and forth months prior to arrival you expect them to have your itinerary all set while staying there. So all in, i really liked this hotel, I would stay here again for sure and so should you!

Room Tip: Nail down your requests by email only. So you have proof.
