There are so many shops, bars and restaurants here in Khan Market-- and really easy to find ANYTHING, such diversity and many price points. However, i find the vendors and shops are over priced, not always so nice/helpful-- and perhaps a bit spoiled because they've been the 'it' place for so long. There are SO many other good shopping/eating areas all over Delhi.... explore Khan Market, but definitely go elsewhere to get more of a flavor of the city.

It used to be favored by the expats in Delhi. No longer. Now Khan market has numerous new shops and restaurants - some expensive and some not so. There is Flavors, Big Chill, Mamagoto, Fabindia, Subway, Chonas and of course the iconic Khan Chacha to eat. Then there are great book stores, Good Earth, Body Shop, Kiehls, Anoki, Silverline, several opticians and many grocery and fruit shops. The back lanes have smaller footwear and junk jewelry street vendors.

Adjoining the market is the Lok Nayak Bhavan where there are many lighting accessories shops and a small but great Khadi Bhandar.

The best of all, there is free parking, though mostly full at all times.

Easy to get to, and apparently known throughout New Delhi, this has to be worth at least one visit, with shops of all descriptions and restaurants for all tastes.
The hustle and bustle, and that's only parking, set the tone for the visit. I was disheartened to read that there is a revamp planned. Apart from sorting out the car parks, I would leave well alone.

I spent my first day in India at this market. Although I didn't enjoy the shopping so much, this was a nice little market to walk around in for an hour or so. I was able to get a good lunch, good coffee and free wifi while there.

This is a small market that has some nice stores but it wasn't as impressive as some of the newer, bigger mega shopping malls in India. I wouldn't come here to find bargains. One would probably need about an hour to see this place completely.
