Went to India for a friend's wedding who arranged accommodation. Friendly, clean, and nice food. WiFi not complimentary, but otherwise good facilities.

Stayed July 2012

Visaya’s location is both an advantage and disadvantage. Being beside a flyover, reaching it is a challenge for visitors to Delhi as you can see the hotel only after you get down from the fly over and after that to reach it is 3 km round trip back. 2ndly being right on the main road – the front facing rooms have too much road lights & sounds. The rooms facing the garden at the back are quiet, in fact magically so. Rooms are not small – but with the furniture there is not much feeling of space. The toilets are spacious but the lighting makes them seem old.

Breakfast is in a nice garden side café & is quite good. But room service food is strictly avoidable!

The hotel promised a roof top health club – which I went searching. I found a few banquet rooms, but no gym. For morning walkers – you can walk in the tony colony behind the hotel, but look out for dogs. A ten minute walk ahead there is a vast park which is a walker’s delight. In fact when I have to stay at this hotel for location reasons – my compensation is this park !

Hotel is located in convenient location to and from the airport...reception staff seems like trainee and need improvement..they have a small restaurant but not very exciting..room was spacious and neat...bathroom was an issue with shower not working properly...would recommend only if nearer to the place of business

This exquisite boutique hotel is exactly what we needed. Stayed here for 3 nights at the beginning of April 2012. The hotel staff are always willing to go the extra mile. Is suppose due to the size of the hotel, they can really concentrate on the personalised service. Rooms were excellent. Nice sized with all the western amenities. Also conveniently located near the Haus Khas Metro station. The airport is only about 25 mins away. Breakfast was OK but more variety would have BEEN better. All in all a great stay at a great price.

This was my first trip to India and the organization for which I was doing a consultancy booked this hotel and I'm so grateful. I am really surprised at an earlier review criticizing the reception - my experience was totally the opposite. A colleague with whom I was working has stayed here multiple times in part because of the hospitality. The restaurant food is really good, beautifully presented, and for some reason there are never many guests at dinner - more of them at breakfast (probably because it is included), and I think they're missing out. The restaurant does not serve alcohol so I kept wine in my refrigerator and had a glass before or after dinner. I agree with the 4 and 5 star positive ratings regarding the rooms and the decor of the hotel in general. For those who enjoy an early evening walk, we found that if you turn left when you leave the hotel and go as far as the next street and turn left again, you will find a very nice residential neighborhood and there are some little parks as well. The internet access is a bit unusual but other colleagues just adapt to it. If I return to Dehli this is where I will stay.

Room Tip: I was on the third floor in the back and never was bothered by outside noises.
